Hooyman saws are made for hunters to backpack into the woods and trim trees around their hunting spots. I won a contest and they sent me a free one to use and it is great. They have a bigger blade saw that is awesome.

I agree, the folding saws and much more convenient than the long pole, but I bet the long one is probably cheaper than the folding models. Just a guess, I haven't checked prices.

the square one is designed to take with camping. You can use the saw part unattached to the pole as a hand saw.

Nice on the folding one.However I like my Worx Pole Saw, it's battery powered. It has a 10ft reach and 8 amp power input and I forget what the saw blade is.

For the fiskars you could modify it so it doesn’t slip by putting hockey tape or that racket ball tape stuff on it

If the saw is slippery you can buy non slip tape at home depot thats like skateboard grip tape and wrap the handles and wear gloves. Boom 💣💥

I got one very similar to the green one and it too had a hook at the end of the blade and all I have had it grief did to the hook at the end, it’s a bit of a design flaw in my eyes. The flimsy blade also doesn’t help. Could do with a thicker blade and maybe a better way to keep the blade in place
