Don't buy the Bose. Buy the Jabra Elite 10 instead.

Something else i would like to add is you can enhance the mid & high frequency blocking by using earmuffs from 3M. The optime 98 & 105 have enough space to accommodate these earbuds and offer good mid and higher frequency reduction. These earmuffs just turn the volume of the world down by 50% using passive isolation and aren't that expensive. I have both but find the optime 98 would suffice for most. Being lighter and having similar performance in the mids and highs. Its in the lower frequency that the optime 105 is better but you can rely on ANC to handle that. I got both as I couldn't decide on which to get. Whenever there is construction next door i put these on and they are a good send. You can even sleep on your side with them if you use a travel pillow.

I came to the same conclusion too. Wanted to get the bose ultra but the negative reviews for basic functions put me off. So I ended up with the elite 10s for 13k on sale which is the best time to get them. Wish there was a way to pick up calls with just a single press using just the left ear bud but it cycles through ANC etc. So you need to pick up using the phone if wearing only the left earbud. If you use only the right earbud then you can pick up with a single press. There seems to be no way to fix this but your suggestion of press and hold would solve the problem. Wr can always hope with the next firmware upgrade. Otherwise these jabras have been excellent for me.

Nope, This is Gen1. I don't think Gen 2 is officially available in India.
