There is one MAJOR MINOR issue with the Casio "square" G-SHOCK GW-5600.
Watch this to see what the issue is and make up you own mind before buying into the 40 year old CASIO G SHOCK hype!
I'll give you a hint: One of the buttons is next to impossible to use!!

I love them, never had trouble using by finger tip to push them and I have fat fingers. I think they are the way they are to prevent getting pushed when impacted accidentally. I have had three versions, love them all.

Everyone knows that. It's a nitpick only you and a few have any actual issues on.

Well perhaps I was the last man on Earth that did not know this «feature» but I sent the first I bought back for return and got of course the excactly same back so I would not call that nitpicking when you cannot use the button as you expect. One of the reasons I got it was the stopwatch and it is not easy to reset at all. But if you know you know - I for one did not.

You call it nitpick. I call it useful info before buying and eventually returning the watch like I did. To each his own indeed.

I can only speak as I find.... I really like the DW5600E ... I have many watches and the DW5600E is always my first choice... Would be a boring old world if we all liked the same things... The DW5600E gets a big "Thumbs up" from me. I paid £60 GBP for mine ..Find me a better watch for the same money.

I like it too. Just the Top left button is so hard to use and it’s super frustrating🤷‍♂️

If you cut the rubber out from under the top left button, it works fine. Just use a razor blade and cut straight down on either side of the button. Done. Easy.

Thanks for the suggestion. With my finger skills I’d probably end up either cut off my finger or through a lot more of the watch 😅

Yes, the top left button is super hard to use, I ended up returning my first watch to the seller as I thought the button was broken. Good to know, huh? :)

Not the worse buttons they ever made... I owned the 9300 mudman. That thing has buttons you can push but requires so much force you wont ever want to use them.

@@HansWatches No replacement. I work as a Commanding officer in Bangladesh Army. Used as much as rough I may can. I love that small size watch

@@HansWatches Recently starps are quite lousy and other case it is one of the best watch. Recently I will have Casio w735h from my wife soon. any comment on Casio W735h?

Have not personally experienced the W735H yet @@yzx9122 It looks like a sturdy watch but only 100M Water resistance and not being a G-schock it probably looks a bit tougher than it actually is I would speculate.
