I have to say, the title of the video seemed a bit sensationalized, but I was pleasantly surprised! Instead of being deterred from buying this pricey watch, I'm now even more convinced that I need to get it!

The advantage it had over the Epix 2 is 1.4" in a 47mm bezel. The Fenix 8 is the equalizer on the screen/size ratio, but still heavier then the 965.

Really enjoyed the format! Take my like, already! I actually went the other direction. Last week I had a 965 that (even on max brightness), I really struggled to see during a run, in normal sunlight conditions. It frustrated me so much that I ended up with the 955 a few days later.

Finally someone who is really honest about reviewing this watch! Currently i am looking for watch that can track Weight Training, i am not a runner. In this Video, You mention the tracking for weight training is good but not greatest May i know other recommendation watch for weight training? I train 5-6x times a week about 60-90 minute per day, and i am not an athlete Cheers!

Welcome back to YT Alex! 😆 good informative content. I’ve been using the Fenix 6 for a couple years now and have definitely got hooked on using the data that uploads to GC. Like you, I pay a lot of attention to HRV and Sleep Score. My oxygen and Hr data is sometimes iffy so I rely on my Garmin chest strap for more accurate hr data. I’m not a runner, but really like the display and touch screen that you showed. But I think I need another few years to justify another $$$$ for a watch! 😆 Cheers mate!

James! Thanks so much. I was expecting nobody to see this one 😂 you’ve got a cycling computer too right? Awesome metrics to have. Chest strap all the way, especially for cycling and running. Wrist sensor does an okay job but just doesn’t compare sometimes. Yeah you definitely aren’t out of date yet 😂😂

@@alexreader yeah I use the Garmin Edge 530, works perfect for cycling. Loving the new Edge 1050, but it’s way too expensive. Been doing more Zwift than outdoors this summer. Too blazing hot even at 5am..Hope all is well. Still waiting for that video about your island adventure 😆

I've felt the same thing w.r.t it not taking strength training into account for training readiness! Wish there was some way for it to do that.
@alexreader4 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s a shame because it makes up a a lot of training for some people. But I get that’s it’s a difficult thing to measure. Trying the best I can to capture everything on this watch though, I think it makes it more accurate. I often forget to start it for strength training haha. Did you have the same one?

@@henrybright7871 no, I’ve got some friends that have. But I don’t like how they work the pricing/subscription or the fact that you can’t use it as a watch or tracking device real time.
