Old f7 didn’t hurt my head nor was it uncomfortable. Speed flex became uncomfortable on the cheeks and jawline though. Pads get hard. Q10, 2.0, and speed icon are by far the most comfortable to me. Yes I own them all. Oh and the Riddell hard cup chin strap is more comfortable than the sportstar hard cup chin strap

So now I buy the newest ones and show the youths and little league coaches what’s safer and more comfortable. Teach high schoolers too. Turned my 1st f7 into the bills official helmet and my q10 into Ny giants🔥🔥🔥🔥

For protection Vicis or you could buy an F7 + a QCollar for extra protection

Personally I like the F7 look for a DB, if we talking about drip.. But based on the cost the F7 is cheaper. But for protection the Vicis will be the best option. Based on the Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings the Vicis2 is the 3rd best helmet.(Ranked 3rd to 32 other helmets)... But ultimately its your choice
