Helps with concussion protocol and "getting kicked out" of games. They pull you out for series, under mandatory concussion protocol based on the impact of hits.

I have to say that football equipment in general has come along ways since I played football and that was 28 years ago in high school my senior year lol. I'm 46 years old and it's just amazing how football has evolved in the past 28 to 30 years, I wish I had today's equipment back when I was playing in high school or even junior high lol.

My helmet technology in the 80s was an air pump. Riddell had the square cushions, but BIKE had the air tube. We've come a long way!
