Free Palestine 🇵🇸 1. Continue to spread awareness 2. Attend protests and contact your representative to insist on a ceasefire 3. Boycott all relevant brands using websites like bdnaash and the official BDS movement website.

I just did a little research on the subject and it is still extremely vague to me if brands that are tagged as supporting Israel really do support Israel after all. Some brands have invested in Israeli brands for a long time but the people I care to boycott is the Israeli government not every single people in and from Israel. Is there any better resource to find out about brands that actually fund the military or the government?

If the whole point of the video is to show "bad" companies, then why not deliberate at least a little bit about bad things that they are doing. What exactly did Chanel and Dior do in regards to the conflict and why JPG is better? Such a confusing video, I don't understand why it exists

Most of these brands are owned by conglomerates such as LVMH, Estée Lauder, L’Oréal etc. These brands send money to Israel, which uses money received in to its economy to fund its war machine to commit genocide. @@yousufsharifshanto7533 well that argument can be used whenever someone doesn't provide necessary information in their videos, so I don't really get it. Moreover, I would like to hear how exactly these companies are sending money to Israel: are they financing the war directly or are they just selling their products in Israel? What exactly are we fighting against here? The whole point of the video is these companies doing bad things so don't buy their products, but there's not a single sentence about what exactly are they doing wrong, that's very lazy and uninformative

@@user-dv4vv1th5j with this injustice going on for the last 2 months (let alone the past 75 years), more contents, documents and websites are available than ever before educating why people who chose to take part in the boycott need to keep these companies on their list. I guess given the huge availability of resources and him continuously mentioning the issue kinda gave him a sense that his viewers are very much updated and well informed! And the companies he mentioned, they invest in illegal settlements in the occupied territory which makes them complicit to the crimes committed against the Palestinians.

@@Woodpeckah88 💯 it was the same when I got my Xerjoff samples of these 2 (40 Knots + Naxos) I was amazed by both. They seem to be light fragrances when you wear them (not cloying at all, very smooth blend) but the longevity and the sillage are incredible (12 Knots lasted more than 10 hours on me) I bought 40 Knots right away a month ago ( I found it at 190 € for the 100ml ) and I consider that this is a very affordable price for a high quality fragrance. Naxos is also in my buying list but I will buy Dior Tobacolor first ( both are incredible / I love honey and tobacco fragrances but the Dior is more suited for the winter and more fruity with the peach notes. Naxos is more versatile and the lavender note is so smooth 🥰) Xerjoff is a great house 👍 if you compare them to other houses for the same price range like Parfum de Marly, Xerjoff fragrances smells more natural and way less synthetic for the same type of performance (between 8 and 12 hours longevity) Marly Fragrances are great and have good performances but some of them smells a little synthetic in my opinion. Xerjoff is definitely became my favorite house in that price range between 150 / 250 euros 💶 with BDK and MFK 👍

A set of fragrances I wear a lot right now is: Gucci Guilty Absolute EDP Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT Vibrant Leather Oud ZARA EDP, as something simplistic, well blended and fresh for professional environment in clinic. This weekend I am going to wear Patchouli Leaves by Montale EDP. I want to experience and train my nose more on this creation. From some niche samples I have worn a lot Tobacco Oud by TF and ArteOlfatto Black Hasish. Regarding the Israel-Palestinian war. I am lacking of legit information, so I can't discuss this theme properly. I understand how dirty politics world works, I wish peace to Palestinians. Choosing fragrance based on the producing company's politics is a bit daft IMO. If you're gonna go down that road, then every single thing you purchase/wear/use/consume is going to have to go through the same vetting process. Are you going to research exactly who owns the factory your clothes/shoes were made in? Who owns the farms/factories where your local supermarket source their goods? Who knows, the company that produced the wallpaper that is adorning your living room walls may well have a policy or stance that is completely at odds with yours - would you go ahead and strip it all off if this was the case? No. No-one can stay on top of this type of thing, as all these manufacturers and global entities will surely use and profit from practices that we do not agree with. Best to just forget about who sides with who, or who has a shitty stance on human rights or whatever - if you like the fragrance, then just buy it.
@SchoolOfScent

That is actually a fantastic idea that this comment started with. Later in the comment you then tell people to be passive consumers without any thoughts what their money is funding? 🤨

@SchoolofScent Do not get me wrong - I have no real opinion on what is going on in the Middle East - I am not that well informed on the subject matter, and I do not trust the mainstream media reports as the respective news organisations do push their own narratives/agendas. I just think that if anyone is going to vet each and every company/manufacturer they buy or utilise services from, everyone would end up not being able to purchase anything at all. These companies ALL value profit over humanity. Yes, I may seem quite cynical and dismissive, but this is the world we live in. Peace ✌️

Better to do something than nothing I guess. Some people have a conscious you know. Not having access to proper information is one thing but ignoring the well documented complicity of companies at will, is just low. Again, for people with consciousness.
@mcchunkers
@mcchunkers 8 ай бұрын
@yousufsharifshanto7533 In order to partake in today's consumer-driven world, you need to have a certain degree of ignorance when it comes to the companies that you buy from. If you do go ahead and investigate each and every single company that you buy anything from (and where they source/buy their stock from, or the inhumane practices they or their parent companies may implement), you will find that any moral objections you have will start to mount up so much that buying ANYTHING is almost impossible. That is my point - if you're going to go down this road, then it has to be all or nothing. You can call me low or any other names you want, but unless you are vetting each and every company that you buy every single thing from, you CANNOT take the moral high ground.
@yousufsharifshanto7533
@yousufsharifshanto7533 8 ай бұрын
@@mcchunkers I get your point. I don't think it's possible for everyone either. But as I said, if I have the data to back up the complicity of any company in this genocide and available alternatives for them, I don't see a point why I shouldn't avoid that product! Again, you may say what makes you so sure that the alternative brand that you're choosing doesn't have any immoral practices! Honestly, I can't guarantee but their non compliance to this particular issue at least might be the reason. Not funding a literal ongoing genocide does give them an upper hand to me, at least currently. And I consume/use my local productions as much as I can to make sure I am not spending any of my money on this big corporations. That way I can sleep at peace knowing that at least I'm trying.

Y EDP. Le Male Le Parfum is too mature for your age group and will have teen girls think you smell like their dad or grandpa. Bad Boy Cobalt is okay but not as powerful or versatile as Y EDP

I get you’re passionate about this cause, but I don’t understand what good it’s doing to make a video about this and then be deliberately vague about the subject matter. Believe it or not we don’t all watch the news and keep up with this issue, and we’re not watching fragrance YT for news and politics.

Taking a stance for what you believe in is honorable. Most content creators stay away from polarizing topics, especially if they make content that is very non-political. Never be afraid to proudly state what you believe in, even if some are turned away, its your responsibility as a human being.
