Have to say Zanzibar is my favorite as well. Nothing else out there quite like it. Not mass-appealing, I would say it has a niche scent profile. Took me a while to vibe with it, but now I find it to be a very addictive scent.

I have a few of Roja Parfums. I used to hate on them…saying they were only ok. I had to come back later and smelled them when my mood and temperament were different..not necessarily good but different. I sprayed one that I thought was boring and all of a sudden.. I could smell many different ingredients. To the “keen” nose..his stuff is V E R Y good, classy and natural like eating at a fine restaurant in a foreign country. So I went from 1 to now having 8.

I would explain niche as a fragrance house that makes fragrance that arent designed to be mass appealing but appeals to a smaller group of customers. Niche fragrances are often more expensive than designer fragrances, which makes the costumer segment for niche fragrance houses even smaller.

IBI is on the top of my most wanted list, based on trials in the airport and from the scent profile of the Abraaj. It's definitely that's worth breaking my rule that scents shouldn't cost more than a 100 bucks. Two other Amouages come into this category reflection 45 and jubilation 45.
