It gets my 7yr old about 12 miles of single track, which is plenty for a 7yr old attention span. 45 minutes brings it to full and he's ready to go back out. He progressed leaps and bounds over his KTM mini.

I agree! These kids are learning so much faster on an electric bike as it is easier to control and keeps the momentum up when the gas bikes might not be able to. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Hi Jared, Yeah, I'm just down the Interstate in Pa at Rte. 89. We, my grandson and I just got out yesterday (Tues.) for a short ride and it is still very muddy out there. Hopefully soon it will start to dry up. Thanks for the videos. LaVern

They seem decent for riding around the house. Problem is, sometimes my boys do that for multiple hours at a time. Electric is way more convenient for my wife, if they ride when I'm at work, and I will never miss working on a little 50cc carb. I think I'd buy one if the battery was hot swappable.

Very true! They are great for being quiet around the house and also the simple maintenance. But like you mentioned I couldn't stand the fact that it took so long to charge and the batteries are not swappable. If I could swap the batteries I wouldn't care how long it takes to charge but when the little guy wants to ride for another few hours this bike ends up getting parked..

The newer one as in EE2 is way better because you can switch the battery. I suspect there will be a new bigger one soon..

Good Morning, thanks for the comment! I have been able to wash this bike like a normal motocross bike without any issues. I am just cautious around the electrical components like I normally would be. I also dry it with the air compressor after as well. Thanks, Jared

@@3SeasRecreation okay right on brotha. Thanks for letting me know about your experience with the bike. We have a ton of racing this season and a local track opened a kid's track so we'll be riding a ton too. Everything looks pretty clean until they water the tracks lol.

According to another KZbin repair you can kill the motor with water ($1k). There is a gasket and bearing that needs to be replaced occasionally to keep it water tight. Also I’d keep the pressure washer out of the motor.

​@Mitch Shepherd thanks for your comment. My 5 year old will be on the EE5 now from the Oset MX 10 while my 7 year old has graduated to the Cobra FWE and Husky T65. I ended up grabbing the water plug for the EE5 from Nihilo. Lots of other parents were experiencing water errors and it was from pressure washing the bike at the bottom of the battery, there is an air vent there. My goal is to get my 5 year old onto a gas bike sooner than later.

That's always problem with electric vs petrol & same in RC. Electric better & faster until it goes flat under an hour (husky Ee5 was double the price of the TC 50 mini 23 I purchased.) Cost scared me away+ thought of replacement battery costs

NEVER pressure wash it! Big mistake there.

Nah, the pressure washer is just fine. Just don't get too close to the critical components.
