I am so glad you made this video. Several months ago, I bought the New World egg protein powder. I could never get it to stiffen. I kept trying, but there was nothing I did that would make it work. I finally put it on a back shelf and thought I would try again at some later date. It was a 3-pound bag and I just couldn’t throw it away. Glad more are reviewing this New World brand. Had a problem with a bag not being sealed properly. Was an obvious manufacturing problem, not shipping issue. After 4 emails I finally got a response blaming FedEx even though I submitted pics and it was clearly on New World. They didn't offer a refund, discount or even an apology. I've since returned to other options. I read numerous other reviews questioning the legitimacy of their egg white protein. To my knowledge the company has failed to provide any sort of documentation as far as guaranteed analysis with that product.

I have the NOW brand and have used it for a while. However, I recently noticed that there are 2 g of carbs per 1/4 cup serving. Eggs don't have any carbs in them and I was kind of suspicious that they may be adding something to the powder to give it those 2g of carbs. I also have bought small packets of egg white powder from the grocery store (which are advertised for making meringue). The ingredients are only egg whites, and they have zero carbs! The NOW brand seems to have a lot of certifications for purity, but I don't understand where the carbs are coming from.

The volatility of egg prices has been so weird. Last time I priced the egg white protein it was almost exactly 2x the cost compared to the last time we stocked our egg protein powder, so instead of doubling the price we decided to let it run out of stock until the costs are back down.

Yeah, it's been crazy. Ryan told me that the rise in prices hasn't been primarily due to inflation but more due to the bird flu. He said that big companies like Walmart and Costco were buying up all the shell eggs and there were just less available because of all the flocks that had to be put down. Then that didn't leave much left over for making into powder. He's hopeful that things will level out as flocks get rebuilt. Have you ever looked into Rose Acre Farms and sourcing your egg white powder from them? They're good people

Have you ever tried Ginger frosting, it's a great replacement for ice cream. It only takes a tiny bit of Allulose to sweeten it just a bit. I make it with home squeezed ginger juice. It's important you don't add any water as that would interfere with the Frosting. I find if you grind up the Ginger, eventually you get juice by itself. I take coconut oil that's been refined, so it has no carbs. Add a little ginger juice, a little Allulose and blend it with stick blender to get it really smooth. Adding some soften butter and whip with a mixer, to add a little air. Until you get a frosting like consistency. This is where the coconut oil really adds a lot to it. As it will set up over time and not be so runny, yet melt-in-your-mouth as you eat it.

OMG there's little savings to get excited about. What it will come down to is packaging. Which out of the two has the best packaging for home storage offset by how much you are getting. if both are the same ounce for ounce or gram for gram then the packaging for better storage min maintaining the egg whites between uses will be first and foremost beneficial cos is not like the savings of a dollar at best is going to make you smile when spending that huge amount of money anyway, but I appreciate you giving us the facts and importantly the heads up on user testing them for us. A new powder has just come out called "It's Just Eggs" but is expensive around $36 for 8 ounces c. 225 grams. It does work perfectly for all kinds of baking and packaging in a white sealble bag. Can buy on Amazon and everyone using it for baking is raving about it. Might be worth a try! Thank you for a good video.

The "It's Just" brand is not new, it's one of the first I tried back in 2020 when I first learned of PSMF brand. It was definitely the least expensive at the time - I think I paid less than $15 for an 8 oz package then, but it was also pre-price gouging and just before the bread got even more popular. I remember I could buy a 5 lb canister of the NOW brand for $55 dollars back then, whew!

All Star Health has Now brand EWP 5lb for $62.05. I have purchased from them before and had great service. Now, brand has 2 carbs ( I had not paid attention to that previously). Rose Acres has ZERO carbs. The 10 lb bucket with discount shows as $129. $64.50 per 5 lbs. Not bad for zero carbs. I may try the bucket because the plastic bag is so messy to transfer to my tub. Noticed just now...5 lb on Rose Acre is not available. 10 lbs it is!

Recently I saw that Now brand had a sale on the Egg Protein Powder. I wanted to know where the powder came from. I went on their website and they resource globally..They mentioned China. In the first place I want egg protein that comes from the United States. Plus I want to support our farmers. I don't care that NOW tests it because you can't be sure of where the eggs are coming from. So to me it's a no brainer. I'd rather pay more to get a product that I'm going to be eating made in USA than something that is imported. So Rose Acre Farms should be the #1 source if you want clean ingredients. 😁

so i've been making the yeasted butter bread. the first time i made it, it was exceptional. since then, i've had most of my loaves come out dry. I figured it out - the first brand i used was Nutricost. and it came out great. after that i bought the NOW brand. and it whips up fine, but all my loaves are too dry. i'm careful with the amount of egg white powder, so i can only assume it's the brand. i tried the It's Just! - Egg White Protein Powder and it wouldn't whip at all - despite the ingredients being just egg whites. it's a head scratcher. update: i made it today with the jude's brand and it came out perfect, just like the first time. so i'm convinced the NOW brand egg white powder is the culprit behind my dry bread. it was still good, just kept coming out too dry.

That company caters to bodybuilders who want to bulk up - they drink egg whites like they're milkshakes. But there's no excuse for getting your labels mixed up. The batch you got was obviously stevia sweetened and the added lecithin is what is preventing it from whipping up - it's an emulsifier. I buy their protein powder as it's delicious and use it as a base for keto ice cream but they need to answer their emails. I would have hunted them down and called them...

Recently I tried to order a 5lb Now container from Herbpro in July 25 …waited and emailed them about a week went by, no answer and waited again no answer July 31 got an email my order Is on its way. It’s 8/2/23 got an email due to high demand your order is back order! Ok now on 8/6/23 I emailed them to please let me know when I will be getting my order which was $81.00, so now on 8/8/23 got an email that my order was cancelled a refund has been issued. Since it list "egg protein" maybe it had egg yolk in it as well since yolk contain some protein.

I just tried recipe using bulk supplements egg white protein powder and it did NOT whip to stiff peaks at all! I called the company and they told me their egg white powder is meant for supplements only and not for cooking
