leff is a good beer try that out if you havent already and i will look at more of your reviews as i want a low cost 2 person tent that will pack neatly on a small motorcycle. all the best mate

Yeah it’s a decent beer, I would recommend you look at the forclaz tent review not as cheap but brilliant quality for the price! If you’re ever on the continent like Belgium or Holland I recommend a beer called Cornet now that’s delicious

I have this tent, I am a beginner, and I have used 7 or 8 times now wild camping, I have replaced the pegs, which was the biggest downside to this tent, I have got used to erecting it easily, I tend to camp in drier conditions and is fine for that, you can sit up in, it only cost £35 Which I cannot moan about
@randyyeager7 ай бұрын
It's a summer tent. the top of the inner is mesh. You want it to unzip from the bottom to let cool air in and the top will vent out the heat.
@LeoManAndMountain7 ай бұрын
To be honest I prefer unzipping at the top simply because of bugs etc

if it's raining, why get out of your tent?

Mate Vango do make good tents it's not the best as the price is cheap ie the tent pegs and obviously the fibre glass poles other then that it does the job think personally you're going over the top with a criticism a little bit but that's just my opinion !!!!

does the outer fly have loops in the middle to pull out the vestibule a bit?
@LeoManAndMountain7 ай бұрын
Unfortunately not, there isn’t really any way to increase the size of the vestibule
@randyyeager7 ай бұрын
@@LeoManAndMountain you could add a couple webbing loops and seam seal them on the inside. Might help. I'm as cheap as they come, so a little DIY goes a long way.

Condensation tip . Open the door . . You will be warmer without the pint of water you breath out . I started opening up tent even in the minuses , have not looked back since . But all doors are different. On my door there are three zips . Allows me to open up the top . The real test with a vango is the rain . . They are pretty good with rain in my experience. A 35 quid tent is for a festival or a homeless person . . Itll be made to last just for a few years . Sounds like its too short for you . I have a hoolie 2 tent , can highly recommend it . Its my only tent . You need to find a one only tent for yourself . Thats what i got from this . Thanks for your info Hoolie 2 is 2.6 kilos . With everything attached .

I’ll be trying all sorts of tents in the future, it is definitely water proof that’s for sure just the way the door opens would mean rain would easily get it the inner, and it isn’t to short to be fair it’s just my mat is too big 😅

you keep saying "it's taped and seamed" All tents have seams. a seam is where the pieces of cloth are sewn together. Taped means the seam is covered with seam tape.
@LeoManAndMountain7 ай бұрын
Seam sealer liquid goes on the stitched seam and then is taped over with seam tape
@randyyeager7 ай бұрын
@@LeoManAndMountain I don't think most companies take the time to use the liquid.
@johnhealy92314 ай бұрын
Depending on the manufacture,and materials some use hot needles,thus sealing the hole as the needle exit it then seam tape it .

2 normal size people would fit fine in that tent. Yer a large dude (me too) average size man and woman would fit.
@LeoManAndMountain7 ай бұрын
I don’t think they would it is VERY narrow and two small mats wouldn’t fit easily
@randyyeager7 ай бұрын
@@LeoManAndMountain the average woman is pretty small and her mat would be smaller as well. At least, that would make the most sense.
@LeoManAndMountain7 ай бұрын
@randyyeager to be fair if I was sharing a tent I would just use a different tent, that isn’t as restrictive like a dome tent 🤣
