Powerline extension is a very impractical suggestion. Speeds in this case depend on a lot of variables like how old or new is the copper wiring in your house, how light or heavy is the circuit load, what is the distance between the transmitter and the receiver. For example, if you turn on the microwave in your house that is on the same circuit as your network the microwave can slow you speeds or sometimes literally force your devices to disconnect because of the load. Bhai do some research about what you suggest as alternatives. The second alternative is a go. Evergreen. 👍🏻

I was in a same situation last month, I have just renovated my house and my fiber was giving fine range on the same floor but my family decided to make our basement a study room and needed wifi there too... I asked electrician but he told me putting aln cable from my main router to basement wasn't possible in our case so I used Mi 4c as extender and kept it on the basement stairs where it receives more than 50% signals and I am easily able to get 100mbps+

Jio fiber engineers do not recommend another router to extend wifi, they say in some days it will slow down both routers speed, they recommend using wifi extenders the ones that fit into the plug. I had an extra router lying with me but they said don't use that it won't work properly after few days...

Main router me jo 3-4 ports hote hain unhi me se kisi port me wire lagao aur dusre room me rakhe router ke main wan port me connect kar do aur dusre router ka setup kar do laptop ya mobile se. That's it. Concept bohot hi simple hai jaise apke internet provider apne main connection se sabhi ko wire ke through internet dete hain waise hi aap apne main router k through dusre room me internet de rahe ho.

Better methods are to simply use Mesh routers. The new Jio Fiber router works with Mesh topology, get two of them and it’d be flawless. Or if you have medium sized home with few dead zones, get a Wifi6 router if your devices support it and connect it to LAN of main router then disable Wifi of main router.

@@TaknikiSamaan Depends on the usage, as someone working from home I prefer to have my meetings not drop anywhere in the home. Intelligent switching without having to reconnect is worth the cost in case of Mesh routers which you can find these days at 2k as well. JioFiber also provides an extra router with similar cost. Wifi 6 is expensive but if you have 20+ devices connected at the same time, I don't see a reason why not, and yes Wifi 6 is still expensive but mesh routers are affordable to most working class.

I use a tp link wifi extender, firstly i get a speed around 30-40 mbps which compared to my host wifi jio fibre is a lot less….secondly this extender sucks for gaming as it constantly gives me packet loss and causes the game to lag multiple times during online gaming. I guess gta 5 is the only game which doesn’t lag for some reason.

Wifi extender is there for use in specific corners. And it is a convenient alternative to all the things he's recommending. In my house, Wifi doesn't reach only one particular room. I only get around 2 Mbps. With extender(price 1 k) it goes to 22 Mbps. That seems worth it to me

Mere bhai wifi aapka galat jagay laga h kyuki aapne Jo pic dhekaya kaun hi itna kopche mein lagaya h wifi har koi lagbhag main hall mein hi lagate h aur extend hadtak bedroom pe krte taaki aaram se office work bedroom se ho sake aur Rahi baat extender ki toh market review toh fake bhi ho sakte h isliye apni reputed company se extender lo like dlink kaafi best h yrr 5 years se chala ra hu purana ho chuka h but as same like main router ki tarah hi speed deta h problem bus ek hi h ki gaming nhi ho sakti kyuki kuch micro secs se 2-3 secs ka delay ho sakta h as gaming server zyada busy hote h
