Absolutely !!! If you watch ASP you know that "sometimes you need something between a harsh word and a gun!" I tell everyone that carries a gun they NEED to carry pepper spray.

I was an NRA trainer at one time and I ask people "what are you going to do if you are at the mall or the supermarket and someone thinks you stole their parking spot - and now they are walking over to your car to give you a beat down?" I'm a bit old for a street fight and too young to go to jail for the rest of my life - thus pepper spray.

Fun fact: POM stands for Peace of Mind. I've carried POM for a year plus now and I love it! They also have smaller versions for running or whatever but I like the big containers personally.

I have always said: it's not whether or not we can ccw, it's about how self-defense is viewed. In this state, protecting your house is a sketchy proposition, defending yourself in public is another thing.

I agree pepper spray is a great option, personally keep it in my car but don't carry it everyday. Maybe if NJ drops the mag size limits I'll be able to but atm too much in my pockets.

Jay thanks for the content brother. I'm a born an raised jersey italian and been here my whole life so I feel about your comments of staying here. It's hard when you're whole family and friends are here. Question. I wanted to get that bottle of POM Max spray too, but it's 2ozs. The law says no more then 3/4 of an ounce. Did I miss something here?

My friend and I live in a slave state in New England. We don't plan on visiting NJ anytime soon so we are not using your take as legal advice so don't worry we would do something illegal based on what you say. Im just curious, when you said the law says can't be convicted of a crime. Does that mean my friend who a sealed criminal record of littering can't carry pepper spray in NJ? Even in our shithole its just felons who can't carry pepper spray.
