I feel like after watching quite a couple of sets that dragon punches are artificially strong because people are not getting maximum punishes on them. When someone uses a strong dragon punch is there enough time to super special if you are slick enough to jam it out?

You can’t predict when someone’s going to DP when they’re doing them accidentally. There’s no defense against it.

Reward for blocking DP outweighs their reward for landing one more often than not, since you can punish with heavy with pretty much any of the cast. If you're too scared of DP, throw a meaty projectile or commit to a crossup to mess up their inputs if your character has those tools. Lots of options.

@@junitosama3547 The big damage makes up for the slow pace in my opinion. You cant play reclessly or spam heavily in this game because you can lose half your health to a single strike. But i understand why the slow gameplay might not be for everyone.

The mistake you kept doing against the Charlotte was trying to play smart against someone who just pushes a lot of buttons. No point using teleport games against players like this. Toss fireballs and punish his unsafe play.

Why is the timer so slow? I Timed the ingame timer, and its 60 seconds, is actually 90 IRL seconds. Why do they have to do this?

A lot of fighting games have slow timers. For example Marvel vs Capcom 3, each second on the clock is actually closer to 3 IRL seconds. Not sure why

@jmcrofts hey man, you say this game is about hard reads and i have to agree, that the reward is insane, but it`s still a gamble right? i mean, in db fighterz you could read your oponent and even punish unreactable things like standing medium with lv 3 ult, but there is nearly always a safe option and that`s why you should rather punish on reaction, than on prediction. atleast i feel bad when i win because of reads, instead of mastering the game itself xD But i don`t know if samurai showdown is a different story... i kinda like this game and think about getting it, but it seems a little limited in options compared to fighterz and i don`t like unavoidable gambling in terms of guessing what is the other player going to do, rather then thinking about all options he has and how to deal with all of them at once. i`m very interested in your opinion about this... anyways, i really like your stuff bro! you are a nice guy with the right spirit, almost like a saiyan and i really enjoy it xD

dude i literally have a 12 game win streak now. its not really hard when you fight against players who arent as good at the game. my rerecord overall is 40 wins 7 losses. but i still get blown up by people dont have huge win streaks all the time.

the game is early on. and it allows unlimited rematches. so its easy to get win streaks. but trust me. play someone good and they will shut down the mashing quick.
