Don't Compare Abuse

I have found that is is not good to compare our experiences of abuse.
I admire Elizabeth Smart because she is so poised after what happened to her and I am not.
Sometimes I even have a voice in me that says that my abuse was not that bad and I should not be feeling the way I do.
Don't discount what you have been through!
Everyone is different.
