You know, this is the first revolver animation I've seen that does speed loaders right. In most games, they have the speed loader base make complete contact with the cylinder, when what is supposed to happen is the center of the loader hits the little star shaped shell extractor, so there's a bit of the casing of the bullet exposed as they're released from the speed loader and fall into the cylinder. An extremely small detail, but a welcome and nice one, especially as someone who just bought their first revolver :D

@@bigwinz I mean sure, but its not really fun after the first few many times if your gun jams or breaks after usage, just because "muh realism" obviously this is MY opinion, and others love realism, and I DO see the appeal, but it CAN get annoying after a while, if it happens commonly, which, games, tend to make it more common than it happens to someone IRL. because well... if you play a game that takes a few hours to a couple days to beat, having realistic times on degredation tends to make it moot and rare to the point of the discussion of "why have it to begin with" again, my opinion, I prefer just to screw around and do stupid shyte anyways, so when stuff just breaks, kinda gets annoying, still dependant on the game obviously.

That's actually pretty damned close to a revolver blow out i saw when i was a kid. I was visiting relatives in the states and went plinking at the local range with my cousin and uncle. I later understood that one of the guys plinking with his revolver must've played with reloads, and one of them must've got stuck in the barrel, dumping all its potential energy in the cylinder. Aside from the really loud bang and the fact that his barrel was about 2 or so meters in front of the table in the ground... he was just shocked, but otherwise unhurt.

Like ik your joking, but it doesnt look like the gun ever really points downwards. Based on the way the clouds look, it doesnt look like he's straight up and down.
@GutterV2 жыл бұрын
If the rounds are magnetic, the rounds would only ever go half-way in and stick to the interior sides of the cylinder as to fully seating. If the front end of the cylinder were magnetic... it "might" work, but that'd have to be a big/strong magnet and be noticeable on the model. It'd consequently affect the ballistic trajectory, but that wouldn't matter in this case.

@@natebit7167 report is the term specifically used for a gunshot when you need to say "gunshot" in a fast manner. Such as being shot at.
@Xaivius2 жыл бұрын
@@austrianemperor6727 basically, this is a pretty good animation of what a revolver looks like when a bullet gets jammed in the barrel and causes the gun to explode. I used the term 'report' for the blast coming out of the barrel as I wasn't sure if a shot had been fired, and report is the generic word for anything that sounds like a gunshot or sharp explosion. I was praising it because you can find a lot of (real-life) footage of revolvers exploding like this due to either something jamming the barrel or a cartridge loaded with way too much powder. So, props to the animator for a very keen sense of detail.
