Even "temporary" fillers aren't temporary. MRI studies have shown that they migrate and also still be there years later. The reversal for it also seems to perhaps decrease the natural HA in your skin. The best things to do to look younger for longer: 1. SUNSCREEN!!! 2. Keep your skin hydrated on the inside AND outside 3. Take physical care of your body. 4. Stay at a stable weight for most of your life...then, when you start seeing signs of aging, gain 5-10 pounds. 5. Did you read number 1?? 6. Try to decrease stress in your life 7. Lasers I get that life sometimes sucks, but, if you weren't raised with these, teach yo kids, people. Especially raise them in as stress-free of an environment as you can.

I used to be heavily against plastic surgery done for appearances, yet I realized later on in life that my reason for the hate was due to jealousy. To this day I feel horrible for mocking people who had work done on them. So long as you’re safe and happy, I’m glad. I’ve gotten to the point where I want to change things in my life, trying to lose weight and be the person I’ve never expected I could become. I fully intend to get my extra skin trimmed, as well as a nose job to correct it’s shape after breaking it. I don’t want to change what I naturally look like, I just want back what I had in the past. Then again, it’s not much different then anyone else.

Also with fillers, just avoid them. My cousin used to get them all the time, she had them regularly for over 10 years then she got pregnant the 1st time, had them dissolved and stopped getting them and her face is saggy AF! When you get fillers especially lips, you are stretching the skin and when those fillers are gone your skin is still stretched out. Shes 28 now and looks 40. And no, I'm not exaggerating. It's awful what shes done to herself especially as she had her 1st one done with my aunts permission at age 10! It’s really frustrating to hear that now this news now knowing we convinced so many women to get them. And any doctor telling you to replace your implants every 10 years is full of crap. Unless you are actually having issues with yours leave them alone!! Replace them when NECESSARY.

I dont agree, I may be biased as I'm genetically blessed with curves and large "areas" I'm also a medically retired nurse and I've seen plastic surgery horror stories, my cousin had fillers and wrecked her face BUT with large boobs comes gravity and unfortunately they're not as perky as I'd like, I've considered a breast lift for my own personal preference. I've also had 2 surgeries of my own, both reductions (when I say genetically gifted, I mean it) and those reductions dodnt have much effect, however, I'd still get a lift. I also need surgery on my nose for a deviated septum that causes immense pain and discomfort and is a main cause if my chronic migraines, if I follow your advice I'd have to stay natural and in pain. Why should I? My body dysmorphia is real and can be eased by surgery, my physical pain can be eased by surgery. Being natural has caused more problems than if I had surgery. Some people have plastic surgery to correct things that really bug them, if I hadn't had my 2 reductions I wouldve ended up in a wheelchair sooner than I did, I also have a medical condition that makes it difficult to lose weight without help, should I continue to be in pain to avoid gastric surgery? I broke my leg 13 years ago and now its shorter than the other, one reason I'm in a wheelchair, should I embrace the pain and difficulty walking instead of correcting it with surgery? Not all plastic surgeries are bad, some are absolutely necessary. An example: Just because emma said lisa had a nose job doesnt mean lisa did it because she was insecure, she did it because she couldnt breathe properly but emma would never tell anyone that part of the story. We only ever hear 1 side of the story and it's never the truth, dont judge until you've heard all 3. (Sorry for the long comment, English is not my native language)

My plastic surgeon is an ANGEL for how good of a job she did. I had breast cancer AND I'm FTM. I was devastated because I thought I wouldn't be able to get a chest that looks like other transguys. All I can say, is after getting numbness in several spots where I accidentally cut myself cooking, and having painful nerve damage after a routine cesarean, there is NO way I'm getting any kind of surgery done that isn't absolutely necessary. I

The worst thing to happen to me after a surgery was either the time the anesthetics made me sick in the middle of a restaurant or when I almost ran into a wall while I was coming down off of the anesthetic. Same kind of surgery just different times I had it done. The time I got sick I got to eat barbecue after and the time I almost ran into a wall I got wings :). For anyone wondering what surgery it was, it was botox injections to help my bladder work properly, it's either botox once a year or a bunch of pills so I chose the botox

Ive heard of thread lift but as a nose job. Apparently it last for 2 years or forever depending on thread choice. Is it safe? I always wanted to put hialuronic acid there but I recently found out it is very unsafe as you can go blind. There are 101 people suffering from this already.

The blindness is caused by vascular occlusion (the filler goes in or presses on a blood vessel preventing oxygen-rich blood getting to the eyes.) It can happen with other areas too, not just the nose. I had this happen once, I made it out with little harm, because the injector didn't know about vascular occlusion. Go to somebody who knows about it; they should tell you in the consultation all the risks involved, including vascular occlusion. If they don't know about it even when asked about it, I would avoid. You can see it happen within the appointment (the skin goes pale as blood is not circulating and the area is painful even when not touched. I thought it was painful because she injected so many times and that there was a bruise, but bruises only hurt when touched, this was vascular occlusion.) The treatment is dissolving the filler right away. All clinics that do fillers should also have dissolver immediately at hand in case this happens! All the more reason to go with HA instead of anything permanent. Occlusion is super rare and happens to the most trained and skilled too, it's all about recognizing it and treating it without delay. I wouldn't be worried about the procedure as long as my injector knew how to recognize vascular occlusion and had dissolver at hand. That being said, from what I've been told the filler used in nose is more dense than the one used in lips, so it usually lasts longer (mine's been almost 5 years now). I don't have experience with threads, though, to give a comparison. Hope you can find the best method for you!

Great list. I think there is more than the sanitary issue of butt implants. For reference purposes just look at other surgeries in that area like tail bone removal! Despite progress in the medical industry.... for some reason, the butt has been left behind (I made a penny 🤓.) Despite the fact that tail bone issues have been a huge issue far beyond modern human history, the surgery is evasive & not 100%. For clarification, have you ever heard about babies being born with teeth? So some babies that appear to be born with teeth are actually born with calcium deposits. It would require more information possibly with x-rays and such to determine if the baby has teeth or calcium deposits. I bring the baby teeth because of calcium deposits. So first off the removal of a tail bone is very evasive. Just think about every time you sit. Nothing like a bruised or broken tailbone to point that out to you. So u know of some cases where the "tailbone grew back" to be clear not like a lizard but in the form of calcium deposits. There really hasn't been much innovation when it comes to several surgeries in that area. It is an area that has more movement than you first realize. Also, with all that movement, I would be concerned about implants migrating 🤔. I honestly don't get why people consider that type of implant. I totally understand removal but implanting something is a whole other level of potential complications to consider.

I had triple negative breast cancer and my doc put in textured implants. After news of the potential cancer risk, I removed it. My surgeon did not smooth me out or attempt to make it look nice. I went to her twice and still nothing. She even dropped her scalpel on me and didn’t even tell me. I had asked because I had a random stitch below my breast cut. Sigh.
