Brad, the human metronome on drums, is able to knock out a vocal like that at the same time he is drumming.....talk about talent. Excellent job by the whole band. I have had a rough week, and I got a huge grin on my face when I heard this song. Wife wondered what the heck I was doing plugged in to the laptop and smiling. "Listening to the HSCC again? "Indeed. Brads voice is perfect for this. He does it so very well. Jakes guitar sound for the intro, allows you to close your eyes and it takes you back to a time when you first heard this classic, taking you back to a happy place in your youth. Thank you HSCC for another classic from my younger years. 🙏

Kudos to Brad for being able to concentrate on the drums while singing at the same time! Released in Oct 1986, it was Crowded House's biggest hit in the U.S., reaching #2 on Billboard Hot 100 in April 1987. It came out when I was a freshmen in college. Can still remember the video to this day. My goodness, has it been 37 years already? (4/11/23)
