@@marianareyes2705 thats true. Maybe this means that the earth was struck by a zombie apocalypse or plague first. Then shortly after the military tried to evacuate everyone. The scientists+millionaires got launched into space. we play as one of the scientists proven in dont escape 3 on board one of the ships. And after an unkown amount of time Earth is now a wasteland after the plague. A meteor then came and hit the moon which caused earth to suffer some natural disasters aswell as mutating spiders all while our deep sleep patient is still in a coma or dead. And well now we are here (this is just what ive gathered so far. It may not be entirely accurate so please do fill me in on any cracks or holes you may find in my theoretical timeline) Edit: just touching up a couple spelling mistakes.

Cate was fairly uncaring about the burial & very snarky about the other victims they found which was surprising a little. I'm wondering if because of the discussion of the nightmares & dream prophecies coming true, if that is all this is. Some freakish experiment from that company to see how people would survive in a catastrophe & they're actually all asleep in some laboratory being monitored for their responses. I'm curious what happens if you try to recruit Barry before getting Cody. I wonder if it is possible, or if without Cody asking the three others to stop shouting, the situation would have gotten out of hand? I like this game a lot so far... though... well, it is longer than the other ones, and the characters are more fleshed out etc... So... I really hope there is SOME sort of good ending to this story. I really don't want to see them die... Sure, considering it's a Don't Escape game, you'd think you DON'T have to use the spaceship to escape Earth. But this is the fourth game, so some sort of red herring or subversion could be true... Like the not escaping part could refer to something else than the spaceship plan. Or maybe using the spaceship would be bad and there is another solution... Man, I'm way too invested...

Cody might be a kid, but he absolutely resourceful to have survived this along for however long the world has been like this. I'm so invested in this; I love that this somewhat teaches you what you'll need to survive these apocalyptic scenarios (though something tells me I'd still end up as a ghost before too long... 👻) and how to use your time as efficiently as possible (I wish time would stop until I decided to do something, but then it probably wouldn't move at all! 😸). David, Cate, Cody and Barry are really becoming a strong family unit, I hope they all make it to the spaceship together (no jinxing it! 😆). I also hope that Cody was able to build that snowman he wanted, though I'm afraid he won't be able to be the first snowman in space unfortunately... ⛄ Looking forward to the next one! 👍

I wonder if you would have been able to salvage any of the RV parts even if you couldn't get it moving. Like gas siphoning or battery removal. That end of chapter bit of the game is really interesting to see though! It's nice to see how well your preparations did.

Oh man, the thermal plates from the fridge would probably have been the optimal coverings for the windows. there were three of em! they function as insulators! Unless they were a red herring and it turns out im completely wrong lol
