Yo Bara! Just wanted to say that I'm sorry for fucking up the push yesterday on your stream, ye im that Stormcrow that did a half moon maneuver and blocked you, I completely misjudged and pushed too early, this way I thought I could get behind you and the other heavies, instead I ended up blocking and getting stuck.... Thought it was a fine save, but when I rewatched it on your stream later I realized what disaster it was haha, so sorry for that! Ended up cleaning up some mechs afterwards but still tho, the initial push got fucked up because of me, always fun playing with/against you! Me and panzer666 had a sweet game afterwards, always fun catching someone from the stream on the same team! o7 AZ the Stormcrow

The Roughneck has good hitboxes and is pretty tanky, it's a shame Russ said they didn't sell too well. I'm really enjoying the Reaver.

I like the Reaver too, it's got a lot of punch for just 65 tons, almost like a clanner mech. I think Roughneck has also got the best cockpit in the game.

It's tough for a 65 tonner, but it's still a 65 tonner, you have to remember it and let assaults tank before you. It's very good in a melee, helping a big guy.

I've noticed a lot of people not using case for ammo, is it not worth it? i wouldn't mind gaining that extra .5 tons

Ammo explosions are so exceedingly rare that CASE is simply not worth it. PGI should rework ammo explosions so that they act more like a gauss rifle explosion and make CASE significantly reduce or nullify explosion damage.

I wonder on which chassis a similar loadout would be possible. But the Roughneck for C-Bills should be soon enough to not start buying other mechs to compensate.

Warhammer is quite similar in some ways, you'll be able to carry the same kind of loadout. Check the 6R variant.

But if i remember correctly, the Warhammer has no center hadpoints, so going zombie is not possible. The Warhammers ARE good mechs, i agree on that.

Ah yeah if you want this build and center hardpoints, that's the Roughneck and nothing else ;) On the flip side the WHM 6R has symmetrical hardpoints you can spread the energy weapons around and only lose half if you lose a torso.

Almost all of them are good, 1A (ballistics), 1C (missiles), 2A (mini warhammer), 3A (laser vomit), Reaver (gauss + ppc). 1B is a bit sub par compared to the others.

Those MRM's just seem completely underwhelming to me. You can even see at around 7:20 when he's shooting at Madcat L and the missiles are just dribbling out of the launcher at ludicrous speed and impacting in a noticeable trail behind the target. No thank you sir, I'll stick with my SRM's where I can just um...aim and have them hit all in the same general area AT THE SAME TIME.
