How refreshing to actually hear this said within the context of a Christian perspective. Years of marriage abuse, made worse by church abuse,

Thank you for your coverage on this topic. I have known the truth, however to hear someone articulate it in a clear and concise manner along with the Biblical Scriptures, and spelling it out so clearly that he Is in fact a Narcissist take such a weight and burden off of me. My heart felt gratitude. 🙏

Thank you for this Dr. Clarke. I have been my own worst critic while my family, friends and church supported me. His friends told me that I needed better tools to deal with him. They are no longer in my life.

I grew up with a narcissistist father and I married someone similar to him. I was blinded by lust and I was mentally emotionally abused after some counseling and the behest of my Christian counselor he told me that I had grounds for divorce however I still blame myself because it wasn't for adultery. I know when I talked to people at church when I was still married, a lot of them sided with him and I was told that I didn't know how to treat my husband by one old lady that was treated by her husband wonderfully. I think because of God hates divorce it really is hard for Christians to give a pass for those who have been abused because I think they're the wife is expected to pray for her husband to change and to just endure the abuse. It's insinuated but also directly said. I think they give a pass to divorce men a lot more than divorced women. I got divorced 3 years later after I married him I could not put up with it I was either going to hurt him or myself and I worked at the police department at the time LOL. Never mind it's so much of my childhood and of my dad. Divorce since 2006. And guess what I never remarried. It really traumatized me that much. Plus there is other factors of not getting married which I don't need to say. Thank you doctor for all of your affirmation I hope I fully buy into it someday.

This guys cool, says it how it is, love how passionate and empathetic he is with the victims. We are going to see things get worse in the world, Jesus said in the end times violence will increase, ppl will be lovers of selves, hearts will wax cold, etc ...we are in the book of Revelation, pls know, God is seperating the wheat from the tares, pls stay safe, ur safety is number 1.

Scripture states God Hates divorce. Repeatedly found spoken by God in the old testament and in the gospels. Talk with your spouse.

Read the old testament on how people were divorced and remarried and God didn't call them adulterers or say they should be put to death. In fact, He also outlines how they should not go back to a former spouse after marrying someone else. In Malachi where God says He hates divorce, He's referring to men callously abandoning their wife for someone else and leaving her destitute.
