Judiciary makes a valid claim on dignified income post-retirement. The same claim must also extend to every other citizen. If NPS is bad for the judges, it is bad for everyone else who gave their best years to the developmemt of the country.

All are equal before law, no spl status to anyone. Judges can not decide their salary. If there is a system for deciding salary it is applicable for everyone.

while all employees are subjected to NPS and employee contribution what makes judges so special to warrent such an exception, remember these are unelected and have a closed of collegium system that promotes cliques and nepotism, and has an entranced colonial attitude, coupled with largest amounts of leaves than any other office, the judiciary needs reform and NPS must be enforced, quipping about 'independance of judiciary' should not be an excuse to get special treatment

@@SeemaDevi-nd3vh This means all group grievances have to be brought under the same scheme by clubbing the grievances of all to devise one scheme. Why one group should get OPS and other NPS. Even government employees demanding the restoration of OPS and if it is allowed governments will be bankrupted. In several cases, the judiciary justified the NPS decision of the government on that pretext. With the lateral entries government even employees engaged for other government duties also facing the same sort of problem. A person engaged at 40 age into employment cannot expected to draw same pension like those who engaged in employment at age around 30

Judges in India, whom do they represent? Are they selected by people of India? No. But, Govt is elected by people of India. Collegium system should be abolished immediately.

A commission like UPSC which will be consisting of retiered SC and HC judges. Not by few SC judges collegium which have a 100% possibility of favouratism ​@@prandeepkalita3311
