This is adorable. You mentioned dressing the Barbie. It brought back memories of cutting out paper dolls and dressing them. I also would cut out clothes from magazine ads to make their clothes. “I was very ahead of them times. lol. It’s sad that kids these days are growing up with no memories of using their hands but spending their time on social media. I’m so thankful all of my children grew up before this was even thought of. I love paper piecing! It quiets my mind! On the other hand, I hate fussy cutting, so my paper piecing projects usually involve dies! These cards are adorable! Thank you!

This was a great video. Lots to fun to watch and informative. I’m still in rehab. Today I was moved to a different room because I had been in hell with a nut who blasted her tv as loud as it would go and turn on all the lights. I’m supposed to be here to recover from illness and injury not a nervous breakdown. Anyway, loved watching the piecing. It reminds me of Colorforms my daughter played with as a child.

@ thanks Mary. I’m getting there. The roommate situation is much better. There’s still a lot of noise. Who would think a place like this could be full of noise? I should be released at the beginning of December. My daughter wants to send me craftie things to do, but I don’t have anywhere to spread out or to keep anything. I asked her to send something I can embroider or counted cross stitch. Then I’ll look like an infirmary old woman. When I get home I’ll need a rocker and a kitty cat. 🐱

Cute cute. Those dies are fantastic! I wish I knew why most (pretty much all) companies don't have the dies that cut up to the image. The white border doesn't help the aesthetics of the card. I end up fussy cutting most of them anyways. I love the paper piecing method. I feel like I need smaller designs on them, and Lord knows I don't need anymore pattern papers.😂😂 But seriously the cards are ADORABLE 😅

YOu have to get it re-wet everytime you come to the craft room unless you keep in a baggie which you can, but over time it might get mildewy!
