I had dinner with this guy at olive garden, when I was a kid. After he won the bass master classic in tulsa. He signed my newspaper with him on the front. Great fisherman. One of the best.

Love the teaching and the humility, Edwin. I'm guilty of it too...I prefer backs of pockets but I need to do better on bridges. Timely too...the context of the trees solidifies it. I made a note in my winter/early spring log to 'don't forget about the bridges - EE!'

Thank you for an informative video that isn't disguised as a commercial for a specific bait.

Great video E. I am really enjoying your channel and this series. I think slowing down and fishing an area thoroughly and adjusting baits and colors is so important on those high percentage areas. Keep on catching them grown ones. 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Thanks for the tips. I've never had much luck around bridges, probably because I haven't spent the time and really worked them.

When you are fishing bridges in the winter do you like to power fish em jerkbaits/ crankbaits etc or you go more finesse in the colder temperatures?
@EdwinEversfishing4 жыл бұрын
I would definitely prefer a jerk baits and crank baits because I could cover more water. I would go finesse only if it’s super clear and no wind.

Hey Edwin can you do a video specificity about river fishing? Here in Indiana I love to fish rivers and want to expand my knowledge of river fishing because all I mainly do is flip wood on these rivers.

Great info. You touched on it briefly to make a few casts but at the same time you said you can stay a long time and have a shot at fish coming and going. I'm curious what the graph is showing or should show to keep you around or tell you to go packin'.

Great video! Love the balance of fishing and instruction You talked about working the jerkbait but never really showed working it along the rip rap. I see a lot of videos where they cut to the catch but I want to see you working that bait even for just 30 seconds before the bite. I learn so much by watching the live tourney feeds because they show the guys fishing and how they are working the baits.

If the current is constantly flowing in one direction say N to S do you work into the current or all directions? Thanks great video I love bridges I live off the SE Detroit River and watch guys fly past me to lk st. Clair and I normally finish better 5 minutes from take off.
@EdwinEversfishing4 жыл бұрын
Juststatinfacts SV I try both. Sometimes it will be bringing it against the current others with it. Try both ways.

Great video as always! I went to Randy Howells bridge last year for my first trip to Guntersville, and flat whacked them the same way! First trip was windy with good current, second day no bites slick calm! Have u found it in ur experience to be a waste of time on bridges of its slick calm!

Bassin’ Passion no but they suspend which makes them harder to catch. Try a weightless stick worm next time.
