I can empathise with you and know what you are going because I have been there too. I will say a prayer for you now. I PRAY THAT GOD MEETS YOU AT YOUR POINT OF DESPAIR. That He will bind your wounds and heal you emotionally, mentally and physically. His word says in the book of Psalms 147 vs 3 that GOD heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." 1 Peter 5:7 says Cast your anxieties upon Him for he cares about you. Thank you for this message sister in Christ. I was just making a Facebook post about not comparing yourself to other people and even we have to be careful of doing that especially with other Christians which I felt God was trying to tell me to tell others that and even now after I made that post your video came up and it’s just another way of God telling me to just trust in his timing even when I don’t understand why I’m waiting. in 2022. I wanted to go get my DMA ( doctorate of musical arts)in music performance trumpet. I made the waitlist for one of my schools, but I didn’t get in. I ended up being in a job that I didn’t even think about going and this was back when I was still really a lukewarm Christian. Even today I thank God for not letting me get into that school. it wasn’t until 2023 in the summer when I really gave my life to Christ and wanted to be a true believer. If I had gotten into that school I would not be a Christian right now I believe and I never would’ve joined my grandmother’s church and joined a men’s group which helped me grow as a man. I still have a long way to go and I’m not sure where God is leading me right now, but I trust him.. I want to be used for God’s glory so thank you for this message.

For those who want to read about Daniel in the lion’s den, it’s Daniel chapter 6. It isn’t King Nebuchadnezzar (although he is a king that is also mentioned in the book of Daniel - read the book’s first 4 chapters to learn more about this king), but it is King Darius.

I prayed to God for years to have a job with a healthy company culture where I can meet my needs, save, invest, and travel. Instead, I got a job at a very toxic company with poor benefits and got fired abruptly. I’m still unemployed almost a year and going to lose a lot of money from welfare because I missed the deadline to get a job 😭 I don’t know what to do anymore. I network and everyone ignores me, no one helps.

Yes God can and will deliver us from our situations BUT. Many die for the faith and it is not in vain. We DO suffer and are to take heart that Jesus overcame the world and death. It is finished! Your videos just appeared on my main page on KZbin, I was about to search for a song and I just felt this strong sense to click and watch your video, both this video and the one you posted 2 weeks ago about Trusting God's plan really spoke to me personally. I've been going through somethings and while I learn to be patient sometimes there's moments of struggle and your word has really helped reassure me on this journey of mine and kind of settle down my worry, I've been praying for patience in His plan and it helps seeing messages like this right now, especially video's that are recent. Very likely the lions den was actually an above ground structure with an opening on top, or high on the wall so it would have hurt to be put in there even if you went willingly, not to mention the terror of the lions. To me what it represents is the pain of loss and failure and the fear that you won't ever be delivered. Thank God that he is faithful, whether it be lions or fire or even death, nothing can snatch us from his hand.

My sister, take this with a grain of salt. Your version of the events in the book of Daniel is like many others. But it's wrong. Daniel served under 3 kings. 1. King Nebuchadnezzar. 2. King Darius 3. King Belshazzar ( Nebuchadnezzar's Son) You have conflated two stories into one. Nebuchadnezzar's dream about the statue and the boulder taken from the mountain, many are familiar with this. Then Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the tree which gets chop down but the root remains, talking about Nebuchadnezzar being humbled by God Almighty, he was given the mind of a beast and after seven years restored and made his mighty declaration about the Sovereignty of Jesus. Under king Darius Daniel was thrown in the lions den for continuing to pray to Jesus when there was a decree in the land no prayer was allowed for 30 days. Under king Belshazzar the hand which appeared and wrote on the wall. The stories you conflated are king Nebuchadnezzar throwing Daniel in the lions den, but it happened under the reign of King Darius.
