Lost my son a few months ago after a huge struggle in getting my Life together. Was homeless for years, was used mightily by God for the salvation of others. I’m tired and by myself. I spend most of my time with the Lord and have no friends or people. Family abandoned me after I recommitted my Life to Christ 7 years ago. Haven’t had a Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving for that length of time. No one calls to even Check. The Lord says I’m wandering the wilderness. Never knew it would be this hard. Frozen, Starved and almost murdered many times. Thought someone should know that I exist and share my testimony a little bit. Bless you all and have good holidays. Love your family, they mean so much. Be compassionate to others. You never know what they’re going through.

I thank you pastor Max for your comforting words. This has been the worst most painful year of my life. But I have been saved by prayer and the mercy of GOD. My grief has driven.me into a dark place and negative thoughts have urged me to just give up. Telling.me that I am useless and meaningless. But I have held on to your teachings that I am never alone. Along with the preachings and prayers of other bible believing Christians. This is a very difficult season compared to this time last year. I wish I can take something that would allow me to sleep this month away and I wont wake up until the holidays are over. That is wishing thinking I know. So I just think about the LORD, read the bible and listen to comforting words of wisdom from those who believe. I have always believed on a superficial level, but now in my brokenness I have soaked myself completely in father GOD. Knowing that HE alone is my strength and salvation. My feelings and sadness rises and falls with each new day. So throughout each day when sorrow threatens to overcome me I read NUMBERS 6: 24-26. outloud. When I do I can actually feel the lump in my throat disappearing and my eyes drying up. Father GOD is real that I know as well as I know my own name. HE has been kind to me these past 7 months and I praise HIM for his mercy and concern. Actually, GOD has been gracious and merciful to me my whole life. I.just was'nt tune in to HIS word and promises enough to notice it. And I have asked GOD to forgive.me for.only turning to HIM in a crisis. I hope everyone has a joyful happy Christmas. Keep the LORD JESUS CHRIST at the center of all things and your life will be bless. Bless the wonderful name of JESUS.

Pray in the Spirit on all occasions. . . . With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. - Ephesians 6:18 A great benefit of the Christian community is that believers in Christ pray for one another. Our reading today urges us to pray “on all occasions” and “for all the Lord’s people” always. This is important because amid all the activities and busyness we may face each day, we’re in a struggle against evil. The forces of evil do not want us to love one another. Praying for others is a pattern seen throughout Scripture- from Moses’ praying that God would be merciful to his people (Deuteronomy 9:26), to various psalms of David, to Daniel’s prayer that God’s people be freed from exile (Daniel 9), to the prayers of Jesus throughout his ministry, and to the prayers of his apostles for believers every­where. The apostle Paul, for example, begins his letter to the Philippian Christians by assuring them that he is praying for them (Philippians 1:3-6). There are so many people and situations we can pray for. When someone comes to mind, it may be that the Spirit is nudging you to pray. Praying may come more naturally to some than to others. But all of us can pray for others. All we need is to be open to the leading of God’s Spirit. Do you pray for others? It’s an important part of fulfilling Christ’s command to love one another each day.

Don’t quit before the miracle happens

I am trying to not give up but my faith has been tested as of late. I am 53 and my wife of 30 years just passed away without warning on November 24th. We had no idea anything was even wrong. I talked to her at 5:30 and by 6:30 she was in the ICU and gone. We had been together since 1986 when we were teenagers. We tried to do the right thing. Raise our kids to know right from wrong, treat people decent and live a good life. We had our problems like any marriage of 3 decades but our commitment to marriage was stronger than the easy way out with divorce like so many do. I am still hurting so bad and feel so empty. I am trying to find strength but I can't shake this feeling of pain and despair. Everything we had planned is gone. I always dreamed about the future and every dream included her. I dont know how to be alone. I dont know how to go on without her. I have gone thru shock and think reality is setting in. The pain is so extreme I have constant pain in my chest. I am generally a strong person and have leaned on God over the years but this time it's really hard. I'm not thinking about drinking or drugs to escape or anything like that, it's just the hurt doesn't leave. It's non-stop and feels like it's worse than when it first happened. I just don't know how to get thru this and don't want to end up in a hospital with my own illnesses or something caused by the stress. There are many people who lost someone this year and with the covid nonsense, I think it makes it even harder because we are not free to socialize and surround ourselves with a good support system. Thank you for letting me post my feelings. It helps some and I am sorry to anyone else going thru this right now. I think you have to feel this pain to know the level of the pain.
