Love *ALL* the filming - just terrific. Something I love about watching you two is that it reminds me that I clearly do not have an adventurous spirit. Hiking in this environment and trying to sleep under a piece of plastic while waiting for a giant exotic cat to leap on me all night --- I don't know --- not my idea of fun. But I sure love watching you all do it!! Oh and I think the only time Allie is negative is when she thinks there might just be a muddy mess at the end of the adventure.

I’m sitting behind a desk and I would rather be in that monsoon than here. It’s funny, you said Allie is pessimistic at the beginning and when you woke up Trent you were pessimistic through the rest of the video and Allie was very positive. That is how a relationship works, the opposite kicks in when one partner is stressing. 😊 It may have been wet, exhausting and scary but it will be one heck of a memory and story for your children and their children. My family lived in Panama for 4 years. During the rainy season my children seemed to be wet all the time. They loved playing in the rain. Thankfully our home had an extra room to dry wet stuff. This reminds me of a camping night Stanley Lake in Idaho. In the middle of the night a thunderstorm rolled in unexpectedly. Our tent happened to be in a natural rain runoff area and as it rained more and more, we started to get water coming into the tent soaking our pad. Then the thunder and lightening started, finally we decided to make a break for it and run to the car to ride out the storm. As we were running to the car a huge clap of thunder and a flash of lightening, that happened simultaneously, caused me to scream and duck down, it felt sooooo close. Love your adventures ❤️

I've backpacked a lot in Central America rain forest. Only slept in jungle hammocks. The rain forest is no place to lay on the ground. Most treks have included steep slippery down-slopes and dangerous stream crossings. Frank was most at risk from jaguars, boas, poison frogs, howler monkeys, etc.
