The thing I love is when you guys go swimming on a hot day Frank is right there with you cooling down. Frank plays hard and he loves the water. I'm also obsessed with my dogs cleanliness because he loves to cuddle on my pillows and I don't want dirty feet or butts where I put my face. Cleaning head to toe everyday is a great way to be aware of every thing going on, catching injuries early and it's helped me catch every tick within a few hours after he got them. Where I live in France we have a lot of ticks and Frontline alone isn't enough so I do a full body check everyday. Also 👍 to the bra drying next to Trent's head, so classic :)

The first few minutes of your video showing Frank running, swimming and catching frisbees in slow-motion were EPIC! Thank you for doing the work of assembling that footage. So enjoyed it I watched it again. One last tip I wanted to add- if we humans enjoy a cool-down shower or swim when we're hot, so do our dogs. Even bringing them in a tepid-cool shower for a minute allows their body temperature to come down, assuming there's no ocean, river or lake for them to take a swim in. ❤️ 🐶❤️

I'm not a professional dog handler or even close but I always include Jack into my activities, even a short one to the corner store, out for coffee in the morning after his trail run , yup he goes right along too.. Great video. I wish I could share some pics! I have traveled quite a bit over the US with my dogs. Great company and sometimes motivators.. If I'm not working my little guy cries like a baby if I leave him. lol. As a single man he is a great companion! Very old but still keeps up and always gets a lot of attention. I have done everything with him but put him in an airplane with me. I'm afraid the altitude and noise will mess with him too much. One of the biggest surprises I guess I got from him was when he darted out the door as I was trying to leave on a motorcycle. He jumped right into my lap and was ready to go. I take him on a ride at least once a week (weather permitting). I think it is his way of getting attention! But it's funny to watch people around you as you cruise down the highway. Take care of Frank! You won't regret it!

Good job with Frank - I Travel with my dog and you cover all the bases. I do use a 30 ft leash that I made with some webbing and a snap link to use in water situations ie. Colorado river and other swift water.

It sounds like you have everything under control with Frank, but I’d like to share a trick I use. Since we live in south Texas the terrain and the insects are rough on animals. Our half Border Collie/half Blue Heeler mix is an inside dog, however she does go outside many times a day. To minimize pests/ debris/ and hair I use a hand vac on her after a good brushing. Works great and she loves it!😍

I am in florida and i like to put an ice pack in a bucket .keeps the water ice cold for a cpl hours anyway that i think may help. And i have heard that a raw food diet is better for them. Idk too scared to try that but i do poach meat for them quite often or canned pedigree. They are mixed chihuahuas and so little that its cheap to feed them anyway🙂 Frank gets lots of exercise with that frisbee he is so gud at! My boys jus chase each other☮️❤️🤗
