Oh my word! You guys are a hoot when Titus gets in the kitchen. And then you mention the mighty Zambezi river!! My stomping grounds as a child - yes I am born and bred African, born in Rhodesia, now known as Zimbabwe. I've been eyeballed more than I would like to by a huge crocodile. One such time I was paddling in a canoe with my younger brother, the next thing these 2 huge nostrils come up about a foot away to my right and blows bubbles, then the eyeballs showed up, then the rest of the biggest crocodile I have ever seen, way too up close and personal. It was longer than the canoe, and wider too. It looked like a prehistoric submarine! My brother (5y/o) got such a fright he stood up in the canoe and started to jump and scream for help, rocking that canoe much better. I whacked him with the oar to sit down and shudup! Then I paddled that canoe like it was turbo charged back to dry land where all the parents were standing shouting for us to paddle, paddle, paddle. I beached that canoe and didn't stop paddling till we were literally being carried up the embankment by human hands. On another occasion I lost an entire day's worth of fish which were in a 'keep net' dangling off our boat. The fish were kept hanging in the water to keep them alive and fresh until it was time to gut and clean them. All the men in our camp had been fishing on Lake Kariba since sunrise and decided to take all the kids from camp on a boat ride just before sunset. I was given the rope attached to the keep net and told to not let go. I had no idea what was on the other end of the rope, so I put it under my butt and sat on it so I had my hands free. As we slowly cruised in and out of the little coves looking for the next day's fishing spot for all the dads, there came a large crocodile towards my side of the boat (perhaps it could see the net full of fish), so I stood up and went to the opposite side of the boat. As I did so I saw the tail end of the rope disappear over the edge of the boat and thought nothing of it, it was just a rope. I only found out what was on the other end of the rope when we got back to camp and nobody could find the 'keep net' full of fish. Do yourself a favor and check out what a tiger fish is and what it takes to catch one, you will realize what kind of PTSD those fishermen had after I lost their entire catch LoL Lake Kariba: In 1958 a lake was built on the Zambezi river. It was the biggest man made lake at that time. The lake is called Kariba. The retaining wall is a hydro electric generator that supplies electricity to millions of people. When the lake's wall was eventually completed and the lake was filling up, the water started to flood a very large expanse of land. This meant that many, many animals lives were at risk because their habitat was being flooded. So a project was undertaken to rescue as many wild animals as possible. It was called Operation Noah. There are many videos on the internet where you can see how the animals, from the biggest elephants to the smallest birds were rescued.

I remember being glad when there was one that wasn’t a bear or shark, though, because there are so many of those. Fallon I make a taco salad with a package of mahatma yellow rice a pound of ground beef and a can of nacho cheddar cheese soup and a jar of salsa and a cup of cheddar cheese for topping you make the ground beef brown and drain make the rice according to the directions on the package then. When done you add the soup to the finished rice add salsa to the ground beef warm through then combine the rice mixture with the ground beef mixture and serve with salad and topping with cheddar cheese and corn chips crushed and black olives and sour cream it’s so delicious love y’all in Christ
