I got an offer letter from tcs on 19 July & still have not got a joining letter. We understand they will be onboard when there are business requirements but still It's unfair to wait so long. Why even if they hire if they don't have any business requirements? only candidate knows what they have gone through when clearing all the rounds (NQT+TR+MR+HR) and still not getting onboarded.

I respect your words sir!! But I think I am regretting my decision which I've made See lemme share my side of story ... I had 2 offers in my hand one is Accenture 4.5lpa and tcs 7lpa so definitely like everyone i waited for tcs with an hope that I'll get my preferred location etc etc But last month on Nov 27 I had a joining in Accenture which was my preferred location Hyderabad but I choose tcs I didn't only thought about the package but also I thought I would get my preferred location coz from the past months even my clg mates got hyderabad as there joining location but me being the bad luck i got Mumbai as the joining loc I have my joining on Jan 16 released on December 27 I'm literally crying from that day because of that location I know that's my decision i made a mistake!! I suggest if anyone in the same situation just go with preferred location if they're attached to their family Idk whether I made a mistake by declining Accenture or I've made a correct decision for choosing tcs for getting this location.... literally I'm depressed rn🥺

from your story i presume you're a girl & i guess your family lives in Hyderabad, so i too feel that it would've been better if you would've chosen Accenture over TCS because of the location. But hey don't feel down, you can still work in Mumbai, it's not a bad city at all, it will be hard being alone in the beginning, but you'll get better at it

We should go with the flow..I feel you have made the correct choice because all service based companies are the same, go with the one which gives a high package, else all salary will go for cost of living and no savings..We will get friends in new cities 🙂..Success demands coming out of the comfort zone.. Maybe after a few years, we can switch the location.

Sir, when will TCS digital profiles of 2024 batch get joining?. I have received the offer letter in September, yet there is no update. Can you find this out for us, through any contacts you have. Cuz I know TCS won't leave freshers easily, but i have an experience with a company just onboarding 2 or 3 among all the ones that got offer letter and claims to have forgotten and lost the list, after a HR has resigned. So, I am a little anxious.

@@retromonk88 Yup, man. We all had same interview dates. We received the offer letter late. Damn. I put down Accenture onboarding for this company cuz this has higher salary. I would've completed training and even a project in Accenture, during this time. Everyday, I regret for not joining Accenture back then.

Contact HR team of your TCS office, give them an authentic proof of your correct address eg electricity bill / gas bill / house tax papers / aadhar card and request them to correct it from the back end for which they have access.

I have worked in TCS for more than seven years and can add more observations for new commers. TCS is spread across multiple locations globally. There are thousands of processes within TCS as per their contracts with customers. Some processes are really good to work in but we need to find about them via different sources eg asking about process details in interview, getting someone unbiased working in TCS in the particular office where you may be recruited if selected. So you will get an idea about what you are getting into. Instead of getting generalized information on TCS try to go for specificity where you will be working in which location. In your own city your costing on rent etc will be saved if you have your own house or staying with parents or relatives. But outstation cost of rent, transport etc comes up.
