Don’t let agents take £500 of your money for conveyancing referrals.

I would advise anyone to make sure both the seller and buyer are using local conveyancers. They probably know each other and will not mess each other about/will be worried about their reputation locally. Conveyancers are one of the only groups I can think of who win if the deal falls through - if the deal falls through they potentially get more business and dont have any liability.

I always choose my own so I am more in control and I choose people through recommendation from family, friends and through other people's recommendation

Last year a Countryside estate agent subsidiary tried to push me into using their remote in house conveyor. I only asked for a quote & they took that as my instruction to proceed. I had to get very assertive with them to cease & disist.

I been watching your channel, in my area every agent just wants to sign up as sole, on top of that, they do not seem to have any idea about the area, etc. Can you recomend a solicitor please, Im trying to sell my own property, Thanks
