How much MONEY do LETTINGS agents make in the UK

In this video I talk about the typical lettings agent salary in the UK, and explain how the commission structure works. I compare it to a typical estate agent commission and talk about how the lettings agency business works. This video may be insightful for anyone who is looking to get into the world of lettings.
As i explain in the video, lettings can be a very rewarding career but it takes a lot dedication, effort and thick skin to deal with the day to day.
My opinion is that if you want to get into the world of property, sales is a better way to learn.

Good video! I finally found some information about the commission structure for Lettings. Just started my career in Lettings but it seems as I need to find other employer as I don't receive any commission

£14k for the office on an 18% managed property for £1,400 commission. That month was £5k after tax. Depending on the agency you’d also get paid on term, so the longer the fixed term tenancy the more commission.

Hey DeJoker, woow that's amazing, that 1 let got you more than the average sales commission, well done! Must've been a big house/ flat for £6,500 a month 😳 and yes, I have heard that longer lets gets you more commission in some companies, but I wasn't sure how to calculate that, because it's also stepped in some places, so I thought I'd just keep it simple based on my experience 😅

Highest value let was £2200pcm recently. Couple of these a month usually and about 10-12 £1200pcm lets.

An insult to Samsung galaxy holders. The best on the market imo. Enjoy only iPhone holders who like to chop and change every year. Galaxy holders know we can get our money's worth
