Enjoyed watching the sketch through the completed painting. The butterfly wings and the details on the thistle are wonderful. Learning to balance enough detail with a loose overall look is challenging. This is a great guide for me along that journey. Thank you.

I love butterflies and I love the colors in this! I missed hearing your voice, but the instruction was great, as usual. I just love watching your process. I don't like the look of my watercolor pencil - I tested a quick little butterfly - so I decided to do it with glass pen and ink and I was very happy with the result!

Great video, very informative, one query, Why is all the materials you list from USA when you live in the UK ?

Most of the viewers of my videos come from America, and use Amazon, so I have put Amazon.com links in the description as a starting point. I am planning to use Jacksons from the UK for my UK links but haven't had time to do it yet. I will soon. In actual fact I don't live in the UK - I live in France but have Canadian nationality.
