I’ve got to ask Mike something that’s been driving me nuts. It’s about the stop the cap thing. This is a term. I’ve never heard anywhere else in the country and it seems Mike likes to use this to death. Is this like an Bonnick term that affluent white people like to steal and use to make themselves sound like they have street cred? Or is this one of those cultural things that white people tend to steal like calling cheese queso even though it just as cheese in Spanish, it’s not a Spanish type of cheese . See you in the north east coast. A cap is either something you put on your head or a bullet. And no senses that doesn’t make sense to me. I have no idea what it’s supposed to mean. I mean maybe it’s just a local colloquialism that’s used like saying, wicked or bum rush on the East Coast or y’all down south or is it one of those things that white people like to say around Black people like give me five and bro way too many times trying to sound like they feel like they want to fit in. Just wondering cause it’s like every other sentence That sound clip is played or he says that. I mean I’m in Pennsylvania now, but for the last 23 years I lived in upstate New York, and we use terms like touch hole and wicked and in Pennsylvania we use bum rush and crack and fiddling around which other parts of the country find strange. Madeline has another one and upstate New York. It’s not that it’s a bad thing. I think it’s pretty cool that it makes you distinctive from the area you’re from in the country. I just find fascinating that term and modded or two things that I’ve never heard in my lifeand I’ve been from Colorado to Jersey from Maine to Florida but haven’t yet been lucky enough to go to the West Coast so hopefully someday and if it is something that’s used all the time I kind of would like to know what the hell it means lol.

It means: "Stop Joking/lying." It's something that is much bigger than a demographic area. It's use by most millennials/gen Z.
