Good topic. I just had some difficulty to understand the use of shame, shameless, shamelessness, shameful, ashamed, shaming concepts. I would address one thing: the opposite of modesty is not shame, it’s shamelessness. Modesty and shame are synonymous just how being modest is synonymous with being ashamed about anything that’s inappropriate.
