@@johnnyl1957 Hi Johnny, I stopped in at your site but didn't realise you'd written. Inner City Blues is a great song - all those old ones are - so I'll look forward to that. I like that Rodriguez is finally getting some recognition but think it would have been much more romantic and legendary if he disappeared forever in the early 70s (he certainly threatened to do it in "I'll Slip Away") and just collected royalties from location unknown.

I have to say that the upload turned out very different to what I had planned. You can skip the pre-amble . . . . FF > to 7:30. PS I agree with what you said above. Actually I went to a show which is what I am sure was his last visit to Australia before he passed. His daughter led him on stage as he was pretty much blind by then. He played all of Cold Fact and maybe two songs from Coming From Reality and then ended the show with five or six old R&R covers. I was disappointed as I like that second album. It was an instant like for me as well, brother man Johnny. I was on a flight overseas when I first saw the movie. Hard to say this out loud, but when that song started playing at the end, it brought a tear to my eye. Many moons I have lived, brother man. That really resonated with me.
