I think you and I have very similar tastes in music, Johnny. I had no idea anyone had done a version of this one that sounded like this and your cover does a fine job of depicting it. In all honesty, as huge of a Lou Reed fan as I am...this song and VU's second album has been at the bottom of my list. It was such a departure from the first one. VERY experimental and, as you mentioned, more about being all hyped on speed during songs like this. But stripping it back like this is very very cool. Love it much more like this, my friend! I have been keenly aware of KK as he is was a god on a notorious TV show here called "Austin City Limits" I get the latest still every Saturday night at midnight or maybe 11:30 pm fri?
