Hi Todd, it's very difficult to do it all, it might not have been just Queen age it has been a crazy Fall and Winter on the West Coast so far. You know what many of the other Sideliners and Commercials have been experiencing, Harris has had a high number of losses this Winter also. Todd, I like the idea of Marks Queens, 2025 Bee Season. Blessed Days buddy...

Hey DC… yeah, it has been a crazy year for sure. The virus loads are what’s killing hives right now, not mites. I will be marking my queens this year as well. Bee good!

Todd given your ant problems last year. Wondering if camphor on the base of your stands might help? Thanks for the updates!

You know…I forgot all about those ants! That was a big reason I lost some in early summer. I have my pallets sitting on oil traps and the ants won’t cross it unless a weed or something blows up against it.

Things are running 2-3 weeks early down here. The Fiddleneck has already started blooming and that’s not usually out until Valentines Day!
