I have soo much respect for Sheikh Uthman Ibn Farooq, I reverted to Islam by Guidence of Allah and dawah from his slave Sheikh Uthman Ibn Farooq. Btw your poem hits heart. That was epic. Ambrahem was a Muslim, Jesus Preached Islam!🏳️🏴

Allahuma Barik, it's fresh to see someone who's on the deen, keeping his culture & not tryna act Arab & use "ya3ni" every 7 seconds. Islam is a filter for cultures.

Assalaamu alaikum from Trinidad. Your accent sounds like a blend of Guyanese and Jamaican.
@AkhounaAdeOfficial10 ай бұрын
Wa aleykum salam wa rahmatullah. I'm a trini born in foreign. Grew up in a rasta household and was exposed to Jamaican culture a lot throughout my childhood. I get that my accent is all over the place. Insha Allah we meet in Trinidad. الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ

The true identity of a Muslim is if he follows the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. That identity has to show in his manners, his dress code, his obedience to Allah, his passion for Islam and its victory against the disbelievers, his love for Muslim Ummah and many more characteristics such as as compassion towards the believers in Allah. Some argue clothes are not important, but when we wear blue jeans and a shirt which kuffaar wear, instead of a long Thobe that Muslims wear, we are already telling the world which side we really prefer, we love the adornments of duniya and compromise in our religion, Muslims show no weakness to the enemy, Muslims identify as Muslim and have no praise for whatever the disbelievers have, rather Muslims all full of praise for Allah and the way Allah chose for them.

Being myself means to sacrifice my religion. How do I solve this dilemma?
@gems816711 ай бұрын
"Being myself" is subjective and opinion based whereas he said "do not lose your identity" such as him being a trinidadian, or me being an American. Meaning dont forsake your culture and adopt arabism because Islam is for humanity and does not revolve around arabic culture. It sounds like you have feelings that contradict Islam and I would just say seek Allah's guidance and purification. As well, try and understand yourself and your religion.
