I'd love to see you play through the og series Silent Hill 1 - 3 are well worth your time, true classics.

@PhoenixNat SH2 was ideal for a remake as it's the one with the most imagery that's made it into the mainstream - easy money. Plus, its story somewhat stands alone from parts 1 and 3, so if it wasn't a hit there's less disappointed fans of no "second attempt." But yeah, I'd love to see Bloober given the greenlight for 1 and 3 to see how they expand on what they've done here. In the meantime, keep it up! Looking forward to pt 3 😁 I recommend you try the Resident Evil remakes too, if you haven't already.

Moth room is classic reference to Silence of the Lambs. I really like what they did with this room in this game. In OG it just holded an item in the hole, but here they added another cool puzzle.

I watched a few let's plays of SH2R (the fun bits, mostly) and I find it pretty hilarious that most first time streamers are like "MARIA U R SUS! BEGONE, THOT! DON'T TOUCH JAMES, HE'S A WIFEGUY!" and the ladies who've played and liked the first one are like "Yes! YES! MARIA, MY (other) SUS WIFE, I MISSED U, I LOVE U SO MUCH", haha.

It’s funny how most of these “game horror tropes” like spooky bathrooms, hospitals, and mannequins actually came from the original game, it’s just became a trope because every horror game after silent hill 2 copied its ideas.
