Hi there! I have a few questions. First off, thanks for the great video! :) I couldn't care less about cosmetics. The whatever-sigils and accumulation of Obols just make the game, to me, seem like it is creating needlessly convoluted ways of keeping the player distracted/occupied --> locked into the forever gring, with hopes of spending real money down the line. What I am into, is the immersion. The darkness, the extremely well crafted music and atmosphere. I LOOOOVED Diablo 2 (first I played). And going back, while being extremely aware of nostalgia bias, I see very clearly what differentiates Diablo 2 and 3. Will I enjoy Diablo 4?

I think my biggest mistake was buying the game. Very glitchy on PS5 and they won't let get a horse from a stable unless you use real cash and not game cash. The one quest that would allow you to get a horse doesn't even work.

Good stuff - just wish the tips were reordered to be more chronological... For example you speak to endgame mechanics first and then transition to the importance of upgrading potions early on. Would have made sense to start with the early game tips and then transition to endgame tips. Other than that... solid advice - I learned alot! Thanks for putting this together!

Regarding the renown system: Everybody is doing lilith shrines and strongholds etc AND YOU SHOULD but eventually you'll have to do side quests and dungeons to max out region renown which can be pretty time consuming. So my tip would be to also definitely uncover everything on the map. It's "only" 5 renown per region but it's still quicker to uncover the missing regions by riding there quickly with a horse than it takes to clear a dungeon with an aspect that you just don't care about (yet.). And obviously it's just nice to have the entire world map unveiled.

Just a little precision about imprinted legendary gear. You cannot extract a legendary aspect from an imprinted piece of gear BUT you can imprint a new one and replace the one that was on it.

As I search and watch these D4 videos, I realized that 95% aren't for me. As a person who didn't participate in the beta, I do not have hundreds of hours playing this game. Although I appreciate the effort a lot of content creators, I think most miss that fact that largest group of players right now are either completely new to the Diablo series, or at least new to D4. Maybe I'm wrong so this is just my 2 cents. My intention isn't to flame anyone. Thanks for the content

My biggest frustration is I am level 30 and I still have no idea what I'm doing. I still can't beat any bosses. I am lucky to make it past the first hash mark and I'm' like, there is no way I can beat one of them. I don't understand how I can make it through the whole dungeon only to be completely destroyed by the boss. Its a fun game but technically I'm not progressing though the story

renown is account wide but also core wide, hardcore and eternal are separate like the dungeon aspect unlocks

The only reason I'd disagree with the 2handed vs the 1handed is you can have 2 separate aspects, 1 for each. My pulverise druid benifits greatly from having a totem and axe vs 1 pole arm. Let me know what you think. Otherwise, very helpful. Already using some of these tips and they've helped me out heaps

I did exactly what he warned about and affixed a really killer aspect for my build onto an early-mid game weapon and found out the hard way that I can no longer use that aspect 😢. I now only imprint the basic aspects or ones I have multiple of onto my weapon until I find a potential end game weapon.

It depends alot on your build. Certain aspects and legendary enchantments can be more important to your build; in that case a staff will double that legendary aspects percentages. The wand and focus pieces do offer faster attack speeds and u get the stats of two seperate legendary pieces with their own stats and legendary aspects. My build for example focuses on basic attack which makes that 20% bonus attack speed more important for me. But say ur build focuses on a certain ultimate ability and u find an aspect that greatly boosts that ability, u may decide to put it on a staff to get that aspects stats doubled. Hope this helped.

Omg. Lvl 49 atm and still got capstone to do. Had tried it at lvl 46 and got the curator down to about 30% health before I was obliterated, and subsequent attempts got no where near and was too late at night to keep wasting my time, so decided to go renown farm and lvl up a bit and get better gear. Which I now have, but compromises are high so not ideal. Thank goodness for this video. Despite knowing about it, and using it and using it in beta, I completely forgot there is the option to re-roll stats on equipment to something more useful! All of a sudden I am looking forward to round 2 rather than dreading it.

What about salvaging everything and upgrading every piece you put on? Went so broke so fast in act 2 it was crazy. In beta I was selling everything and had no upgrade mats.

Early on, salvage over selling. (early on as in pre lvl50 even!) because selling a piece of gear for a mere 3-4k gold at most is irrelevent in the later stage, meanwhile crafting materials are scarce (Especially if you are using them alot through upgrading). This is an issue that persist until much later (My main is now lvl 75 and I am only starting to get a decent stockpile of materials and am now mostly selling everything for gold!) Mind you, I can probably farm well over 10mil gold an hour selling everything I find... but I still struggle keeping my wallet above 1mil :P but that is mostly because I tend to reroll stuff a little too much (it gets to over 1mil per reroll VERY fast lol)

Codex of power obtained through completion of dungeons have multi use capabilities. Legendary aspects you strip off of legendary items are usable only one time.

There's no way to remove the socket itself to get back the scattered prism you used to add the socket - that is what I am talking about: do NOT add sockets to gear early in the game as scattered prisms are not that easy to come by and you will get gear later in the game to which you would really want to add sockets

You go on and on in your videos about completing the strongholds. Look, level 1 through 50 are going to go by. The gear you collect will be constantly changed out. So when you get to tier 3 and you can unlock those 2 last renown sections and they have thousands of points to complete. What makes more sense? Completing the strongholds at lower level getting gear that you will replace a couple more levels down the road or getting good gear a couple levels higher than you at level 50 and getting that big boost to complete those last two renown sections?

The lag in this game is unreal at times I’ve had my best luck around 10AM to about 2PM aside from the intermittent lag it’s the best game I’ve seen from blizzard they did a wonderful job and the pc port is amazing I get native 4K all ultra settings and run a easy and consistent 120fps taking full advantage of my Samsung QN90A Neo QLED it looks amazing I’ve been waiting for a ARPG to be this good only thing that came close but at to sim killed it was Wolcen all I can say is thank you blizzard
