Killing the Butcher for a "free" legendary is nice, but only when you're able to handle him. Running into him at lower levels is just a death sentence.

@@davebernard2951 sacred legos and ancestral are better. sacred can have 1 extra mod on them and ancestral will have max rolled stats. there are also unique items, similar colour but the stats are pre-determined, again if you get an ancestral unique that means all the mods on that unique will roll the highest they can. hope this helps. (note, im just assuming the ancestral item tag works the same as the ancient tag in d3)

1. You can open your Codex, find the Aspect you want. Click on it, and it will put a mark on your map where you can find that Aspect. 2. If you have an item with jewels socketed. And you just vendor the item, you will get your jewels back. Save you some time from having to find jeweler n click them put fkr gold etc.

MOUNT-related: On flat surfaces, you don't need to dismount if there's interconnecting platforms (footprint marks). Your horse can jump over the gap without pressing any button.

You don't "farm" aspect dungeons, you get it added to your codex after completing the dungeon for the first time. You don't "farm" strongholds for renown, you only get the renown once when you complete them.

Sofar, my only major complaint about the game is that you can't turn off the other players. Absolutely hate when I'm playing and someone else runs up and clears the whole area with a single attack or completes an event. Definitely should have an offline mode. Other than that, the game has been extremely fun.

For real, everything to "look out" for is really just reasons to stick to Diablo 3, or, if you don't have it, get D3 next time it's on sale. D2 improved class system, D3 improved graphics and added replay rewards, and D4 looks like they just reworked the map system to be slightly closer to open world games

I beat the game in less than 3d of game hours! Though I did tons of side quests during campaign! So it seemed it took a lot of time doing campaign and side quests to get my mount! Though I got my mount, I did every side quests that I had seen! It says I did 100% of my side quests but I have come across more since then!

Question.. if you have to play through the main quests to get the mount, why did I constantly see people riding them during the beta? I went to every main quest allowed with multiple characters but never came across the quest that allows access to the mount. What did I miss??

@@kirkselbrede2179 Some are people, but some are NPC’s. I was confused seeing some when I didn’t see the name tag lol, didn’t realize npcs actually roamed like that sometimes. As for how they had the horses, I’m assuming they most likely rushed through the story and skipped a lot of optional leveling unless they had to. Impressive time wise nonetheless tho 😂

I'm trying to farm ancestrals so I'm doing lvl 21 nightmare dungeons (at level 65), so "every time you kill the butcher" becomes "I'll just stand still until he kill me so that I can continue". He's not very intelligent but he's too fast for me and I can barely scratch him when I run out of potions.

Hey! I looked this up because I was curious myself, and to my knowledge, you can apply an aspect to more than one item you have equipped, but the effect will not stack… the wiki I read said that one of the items with the aspect will have its effect (with the star next to it) greyed out if another item you have on currently also has the same aspect…

Been trying to farm unique elite enemies for their drop but I don't understand how and when they spawn. According to fextra wiki the monster "only spawns at night" or "only spawns during daytime" but either I missed this gameclock feature or I cannot tell the difference? I can find the monster but they never drop their "drop" .... what gives? (bleh hidden mechanics/specifics) and BOO to not able to trade what I want when I want with who I want.

yes yes and yes, there are in game events that happen that you can tackle with other players for rewards and a special currency. You can ask to join other players parties and you can engage in pvp with others. I havent taken part in pvp yet but there is an option to enable it in game

After just a handful of gambles i think the keys are drastically better cost wise. A weapon will cost 50 and typically just give you a white or blue. Maybe this gets better later on, but if the key gives you even 1 item drop you are basically breaking even chance wise

Once you get to a higher level you start to get better drops from curiosity at 30 I basically get a yellow every purchase and occasionally a legendary.

I’m level 42 currently and I’ve been keeping 1-2 keys on me for the Silent Chests. I think at this point I’ve opened approximately eight and they’ve all given me garbage lol. Now take this with a grain of salt as I could just be unlucky but they don’t seem worth it thus far (in my opinion). Edit: Also I’ve teleported from chests to town to get keys both in the beta and during early access and they’ve never despawned. I do the same thing when my inventory is full pretty much anywhere. I go and unload, hop back through my portal, and the gear is all still there. I’m not sure how the instancing works but I’ve had zero issues in that regard.

Can confirm about the legendary drops in dungeons. I just finished my first dungeon (which unlocked my first aspect as well). I got 5 legendaries throughout the dungeon.

I meat the Buchter before level 15 and I could not get him stuck like in beta he would get stuck for about 5 seconds the telport past it. Your milage may vary.

You can pin on the map :3. He is basically saying you can use the pin system to pin your quest location to make it easier to find. I know you pin by using your mouse but I don’t remember if it is right or left click

I completely understand the "just take your time, enjoy the game, soak in the story, have fun with your class" tip that everyone is putting out right now, but a tip for anyone like me that is just trying to get straight to endgame asap, run straight through the story as fast as you can and skip every monster that isn't part of the quest. As you level up, the monsters scale up with you, and if you aren't also killing everything along the way, upgrading gear, you'll be weaker compared to them. If you avoid extra exp, you can save time killing random trash, save time comparing gear, save time in town selling/salvaging, and you'll be lower level and the monsters in the quest won't outscale you. Got through the main quest in about 6 hours yesterday with a druid, and everyone already knows how bad of a start he has, so I'm positive people can go way faster. If that's you, enjoy!
