I brought Dr Strange and he was very useful. There was one point where Dr. Strange was the last one left, he revived Vahl and Photon, then Vahl revived Kestrel and Kang. He also flipped lots of defense ups which was super useful with Kestrel.

I took ebony maw as my spare mystic char and he was pretty awesome there are quite a few hero controllers and the defence up and mass drain was massive

I had to do 2 cheap choices for global. Rescue and sabertooth. Saber hasnt been as bad as I thought. Dies fairly quick if hit, but at 7 red he does decent damage. Rescue has been surprising (cheap, older but part of new meta raid team). The cleanse, heal and barrier has actually been pretty useful along with slow and defense down on her basic. If i could have taken weaver or another Pegasus along with her i absolutely would have. The others i took were apocalypse, quick silver and OG Cap america. Apocalypse and QS are the MVP. Definitely worth taking. Cap does ok. The buff clear and battery have been useful, but not as much as i had hoped. Even at 7 red once he taunts he sometimes doesnt last long. Also, there is a HUGE difference between baby and big apocalypse in DD6. I had both.

mythic section is probably going to end up being apocalypse, Doom, Dormammu, super skrull, and kestrel. There is a possibility that Ultimus may get a rework to make him an option for DD7 but unless that happens, that is probably going to be the team for DD7.

My definitive list Global: Apoc, QS, Weaver, Doom, and Gambit Cosmic: Kang, Kestrel, Vahl, Dorm, and Photon City: Robbie, Hardlight, Kraven, Lizard, and Mysterio (or Vulture) Legendary: Nova, Black Cat, GG, Doc Oc, Omega Red (or next legendary) (or Phoenix if reworked)

I was really happy with hard light, she can really take a beating wen shes buffed and barriered, allowed the rest to do the work, big time was surprising, i took him for gear reasons and had him as a striker, he was doing tonnes of damage to single targets with vulnerable

I highly recommend Lizard over Slayer as the 3rd Superior Six member. Robbie is amazing, particularly as a striker because of the extra bleed damage. I would consider Shang as a 5th because of the healing (Kraven needs it), and a second full-field turn rewind to pair with Vulture.

The issue I see with Shang Chi is utility outside of DD. It’s unfortunate, but he’s fallen off the meta wagon by quite a bit. I know that’s not an issue for everyone, but it’s a point I like to think about when evaluating my roster.

@Lismism2023 Fair, though, who would you recommend as a 5th, Hardlight? It's getting to the point where almost the same argument could be made for her. She's already off my arena offense meta and otherwise sits on defense in various modes. DD-wise Shang is a better option imo.

@@somethingwitha1 currently mysterio might be a good option, he’s got good energy generation and a complete wave blind. Not sure how expensive he is, but I know tech is a highly populated group in DD, so I’d just go with the best option for the origin with the least amount of pieces.

@@Lismism2023 Yeah, that's pretty much what I ended up doing with Shang. Maybe one of the new Hive Mind toons might be viable, I can't remember kits off the top of my head.

I’m looking at DD6 now and want to use Swarm because I have the uniques for him. Could start sooner rather than waiting. It would be Robbie, Kraven, Lizard, Vulture, Swarm.

Using Tigra as cheap bio pick, but no one talks about her. Her taunt keeps hits away from doom. Started global today, probably 2 hit on 1st node (1/3 remaining) Also using her in room1 instead of noir.

I did see a few people using Tigra. I think for a lot of us who have done our 2nd run now, we kinda did it before Tigra was really available. Thanks for sharing your usage with her though!

I brought 3-star Tigra into DD6. She actually does alright and her evades kept her alive longer than she should've been. Definitely would be better if we have more stars on her.

I must be doing something wrong, because cosmic node 8 is a major slog for me. 10 runs and still not close to finishing it. I used all the usual suspects (Vahl, Scopetrel, Kang, Photon... used Moondragon as the obligatory fifth), but the constant aoe's from MLF, Red Hulk, and TWO evil Strange's just keep wiping my team. I'm lucky to kill one bad guy per run. Scope, Kang, and Photon are all one diamond. 6RS for Vahl, and 7rs for Moondragon, so my characters are pretty maxed out too (and have all the t4's). Congrats to everyone who made it through already. That's quite the accomplishment. I hope to get there in a few months...maybe?

Node 8 has been the most annoying node for me BY FAR. I’m on the last wave of City, first run. It’s gets much better once you get past 8.

Hey Boilon, love your content. Your insights are always valuable. I wanted to get your opinion on something. I see Adam Warlock as Striker pretty much all the time. I always thought that was just because of Nebula's assist with Infinity Watch. Outside of IW, wouldn't Warlock need all the focus he can get to land his stuns and ability blocks on big opponents? Would Skirmisher be a viable iso option? Thanks.

While I can’t even think about DD6 until I finish Big Boi I can’t help but think that Hardlight may not be worth taking. As you said if your video she’s a bit meh after her big attacks which is the consensus I’ve heard about her. I would love to take Mysterio in there with my Vulture/Kraven/Lizard combo. I know he’s expensive but I can’t help but think that those 4 with Robbie would be an easy one shot for City. I also feel like realistically, once I finish Big Boi and start gearing for DD6, Secret Defenders probably won’t be full Arena meta at this rate. I mean I’m at the Deathseed Saga but that’s still Deathseed and Strike that I have to level before completing, and THEN I can use leftover gear for DD6. Just some thoughts.

I would check out my latest tier list video. Any top DD6 characters will be relevant in all the previous Dark Dimensions. But, the tier list has a broader look at what you should be focusing on now.

My mistake is not taking Gambit on my first run but it all good. Started Global 2 days ago and working on the 2nd node for it now. I have cosmic ready and working on Lizard Man Gear for City. I also regret not taking Doom, Quick Silver, Dormammu. But let's be honest, these will be ready for a second run. 100% taking them to DD7 for sure. Maybe I'll add Horsemen on there for sure but at the time DD6 was not worth a Horsemen until DD7 got revealed.

Mysterio is expensive, so that would be up to you, he is 5 sets of gear. Vulture, Kraven, Lizard, Robbie and 1 more for sure.

Just quietly I'd be interested to know how many cores you used on resets for timed run. I know how much sooner I got baby skrull than you and I'm only on city 2nd run. Or how many hits/damage info for those nodes so I can see where I went wrong 😢

I would say if I did no coring, my timed run would have taken 10-14 days. I cored every other day an extra attack and I finished in 7-8 days.

Because of the miasma, I’m debating about using Ultron over Doom in DD7. Probably not as strong in DD, but overall stronger in CC

This is fair. My big issue with Ultron is there’s many instances he gets benched out of the team due to minions , like against UxMen gambit or even vulture now for MoE.

When i joined this game, the Kree had just had a rework. So i went wild on them. My Alliance leader even commented wow you're going hard on kree? I didn't know any better and i liked the team! Kree Reaper is still my icon or whatever it's called. I'm patiently waiting for them to make Ultimus actually scary and rework my Kree!

@@Boilon makes sense. If the uniques showed up in the store with any regularity I would have rolled the dice on that. Unfortunately it seems I can go WEEKS without seeing a needed commodity in stores. It's like the algorithm knows what I need most. So, I unfortunately didn't have the confidence to try for that. But I managed to get started earlier this way as well. I only just yesterday got the 25th piece to finish off a T18 so I wouldn't have been able to start global until today.

Yeah Photon was alright, but she was still better than my Sylvie. And as mentioned SD is a powerful team and will be meta for a while, so the upgrade itself is not a regret, but yeah otherwise in DD its average.

@@Boilon 100%. Y'all were going through regrets and so far I've had none. Photon was the closest. BRB was much better than expected. He kept the focus off of Vahl long enough for them to rez my team again and again. I'm waiting on powder to get into city. Robbie, Lizard(low stars), Kraven(low stars), Vulture, and Hardlight. I'll no doubt have the same thoughts about Kamala as yall did but like you said Arena team was a no duh.

I can one shot the first 3 nodes, global and cosmic in dd6 and almost all 4 of legendary nodes. Only fail at the last one. I 2 shot city nodes. But i did city without a healer.
