Regarding about the lock and unlock using remote or physical key, my i20 2011 has the best modern feature. If any of the 5 doors is opened, none of the doors can be locked using both the remote and physical key plus nor the indicator bulb flashes too. This feature is more simple and convenient to use.😊😊😊

@@DirectShift personally to me, i20 2011 is very simple with its beautiful elegant design. I really love the simple design with lots of in built features especially the notification on the odometer to change gears. Mine is 2011 1.2 now running 13 years and completed 63000 km only. I'm planning to use it till for 7 years more. I'm considering to be using like Maruti 800.

@directshift After a VW group car is locked thru central locking with key fob, there is only a 15 minute window period wherein it can be unlocked from inside. After that it’s dead locked and can’t be opened from inside. This is anti theft feature.

It may cost you much more as the whole central locking systems will be replaced.

@@DirectShift about 4 years back, I upgraded my OEM central locking system to remote central locking system in my i20 2011. 1. I did a single signal wire cutting and connect it to 2 relays. 2. And, also upgraded the normal physical keys to flip fob keys and transferring the chip to the new flip keys. It's been working good and very convenient now. I can lock or unlock my car from distance. No need to physically lock and unlock anymore.😊😊😊

Yes. You can get more mileage upto 25kmpl in highway if you cruise with a speed of 80kmph. In city you will have to avoid hard braking and let the car slow down by releasing gas pedal before you use brake. Sudden acceleration and sudden braking consumes more fuel.

Yes. You have already mentioned you own 1.0AT so I have commented for this variant only. One of my relatives took delivery of this variant a few months ago and he randomly sends me screenshots of the mileage he get in city early morning drive, which reaches upto 22kmpl. But still it depends upon the traffic conditions of your city.

Bhai meri 1.0 LTopline AT hai. Usme Apple Car play use krte waqt “doo-da-doo” sound aa rhi h while driving. I’m using iPhone 13 which has wireless charging but I’ve confirmed it with iPhone 7 which doesn’t have wireless charging. Ye weird sound fir v aa rhi h. Ye sound jb mai wireless charger na use kr rha hu fir v aati h while using iPhone 13. I’m not sure about android auto. Please let me know if anyone else has same issue. Because it’s pointless to visit service centre for such things. At the same time it’s very very annoying
