I have a fledged finch and hes getting skinny. The formula isnt enough, he need to eat on his own. All i find on yt is weird ppl or oh he just eating. HoW!? I got food on the floor. I got water on the floor. Boy wont touch it. Im about to take his perch so he has to sit in it. I hatched this boy from an egg and its been painful work with this skiddish species. But he trusts me. So i need to teach him to eat. HOW!?. I think its yt tryin to discourage ppl. Well too late! Im sorry im panicking cause i know whats coming.

I have a 7 month old, a 5 month old, and a 4 month old Amazon. All of these clowns are still eating formula 3 times a day and go insane when I try to drop one of their feedings. They have high quality pellets and plenty of fresh veggies, they sometimes munch on them, but they expect their baby food morning noon and night. Like yours, mine are most hungry in the morning so I’m thinking I might feed them in the mornings, let them out for four hours, and then keep them in their cages for the rest of the day. If I leave them out they start getting destructive. I’m going to keep snooping on other people’s tactics to try to figure out what’s working before I make a decision.
