Owned solstices for about 5 years now and I've NEVER seen one in a junkyard. Love that mech pieces are GM parts bin so cheap and plentiful, but needing stuff like body/interior/headlights unique to Solstice etc has been a hassle. Usually have to resort to ebay or fb marketplace. The groups are very nice but I like my parts cheap

its very rare to find them but when I do I strip them clean of what I can, im not about the FB group prices either. Im actually building an exocar right now which uses GM Parts Bin stuff so its funny some of the parts I have stripped for my pontiac have been going directly into the build. After a few more inspections it was busted on all the mounting tabs and the clear lens had been repaired with CA. Unfortunately it wasn't worth it.

Would you recommend getting a catalytic converter from the junkyard? 😅😅 My solstice needs a replacement

I personally would not see an issue with it but it's always a risk, some places pull them for recycling before they hit the lot. You can get a high flow for about 300 if you want to go that route as well. If you do get one make sure it's low millage so you get more bang for the buck
