I have been to Japan 3 times, and it's just one of those very few countries that you would never get enough of, doesn't matter how many times you've been there. It's very clean, safe and people are friendly. Food and shopping are amazing. Transportation is super great, easy to get around and always on time, not even 1 minute late.

I was so close to visiting Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture actor and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit and work in Japan.

I sure hope that Mom Duty's family had a great time, which it sure looked like they did, when they were in Cebu. It's great seeing that your family and their family are together again. Have a wonderful time and love to see both of your channel's videos.

This episode is so much fun, it’s so nice to meet friends while traveling. Kyoto is very nice and clean and the hotel big and beautiful. It was so funny, you got surprised by the toilet, more fun in Japan 😆😆😆 I would love to see a tour of a Japanese garden, I love Japanese gardens ❤

husband back to finish the fun - going back 28 - 30 years - we were sponsoring Japanese exchange students. Our first very pretty young lady gave my wife a Kimono and did a traditional tea service for us and a neighbor. The 2nd young lady came to play - very rich family - grandma lived close by but she did NOT want to stay with family and have to toe the line. Daddy gave her a blank check to buy a new car. I had heard that Japanese kids have to really work hard to get through high school and college was play time. When you finish your traveling and your two young world travelers are back in traditional school, I bet they would like to spend the summer in Japan with their bets friends. Great 20 min. story.

I think it's the same in Korea. It's hellish from late middle school until college entrance exams. If you got in, then it's time to let loose.

While in Japan you guys should dig on the cost of fruits and you'll have a whole other appreciation for the fruit platter that has been left in your room, not saying you are not appreciative, but check the cost of a pineapple or mango. In Japan, fruit is a gift.
@AlwaysBeChanging
@AlwaysBeChanging Жыл бұрын
Interesting. We’ll look into that. We didn’t buy much fruit when we were there with the exception of strawberries. The strawberry prices vastly varied because of the sweetness and quality of them but they were all pretty expensive for strawberries.

Every time I hear that the western people say that they are glad the US did not drop the nuclear bomb in Kyoto because of the historical buildings and so on. To me Japanese it sounds like you are saying that those old temples and shrines are more important than human lives and their sufferings. Please be a little more sensitive to people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You sound like saying that you are glad the US drop the nuclear bomb in Hiroshima and Nagasaki instead. You seem to be very nice person. Probably you did not mean that way. I hope you will have a chance to visit the war museums in Hiroshima or Nagasaki in the future You will understand what I'm saying.
@AlwaysBeChanging
@AlwaysBeChanging Жыл бұрын
We are so sorry if it came across that way. And we did not mean it the way it sounded. We don’t value shrines or buildings over people. The horrible truth is that nuclear warfare is horrific and would create hundreds of thousands to millions of deaths anywhere it’s used. And it’s truly heartbreaking. I apologize again for sounding so casual about it.
