Hi Cheri, love this vellum idea. I've made three cards with the vellum, and I found that if I embossed it first, then cut it, I didn't get breaks in the trunks! Embossing the vellum makes it easier to hide the adhesive as well. Thank you!

I have done it both ways and I think it is just the luck of where the tiniest part of the trunk may or may not hit a part of the vellum that has a deep embossed bit in it. Thankfully it hides well, so it's not an issue. I do love that it helps hide the adhesive!

Stunning paper! Anyone should be able to make beautiful cards quite easily following your suggestions in this video. Great Job!! I like the trees and deer better than the set paired with this suite. Horizons and and water fronts are hard for me.
