I am excited about Jupiter’s opposition. Though, I have noticed it’s Great Red Spot getting smaller each year. And it’s actually on December 7-8.
@WeAreAllOneNatureАй бұрын
My belief is that Jupiter's red spot is actually a moon that fell onto the planet. Perhaps it is fading because the zillion mile per hour winds have been eroding it away.
@TheGamePlayer830Ай бұрын
@@WeAreAllOneNatureit’s just like a storm on earth they slowly disappear
@WeAreAllOneNatureАй бұрын
@@TheGamePlayer830 ''A storm'' - continuously since it was 1st seen in 1830; with wind speeds from 270 to 425 miles per hour; and always in the same place? No, it is obvious to me that Jupiter's red spot is not a storm. In the future it will be shown to be a fallen moon.
@JupiterEclipseАй бұрын
@@WeAreAllOneNature When a moon falls into a planet, it gets crushed and shattered into debris. This forms a ring just like Saturn. So, I am sorry, but you will need to find evidence to back up your claim because your claim makes no sense at all.
@JupiterEclipseАй бұрын
Additionally, it can merge with the planet. But only if it’s a rocky planet like earth. The rocky planet would definitely look different, but the moon would be no more and there wouldn’t be a trace of the moon. As for gas giants, the moon can get crushed by gravity and formed into a ring like that of Saturn. So technically, you’re referring to Saturn more than Jupiter. The debris could fall onto the planets, but that would make a negligible difference.
