Hello, which sim did you buy for the whole country? If we buy sim from one region and then use it in another part of country, will the carrier charge roaming? Thanks 😊

I got the esim from Airalo which not working in India right now, but in Georgia Data is cheap & there is no roaming charges in the country

Use bolt/yandexgo, it's like Ola/Uber in India.

@WanderingMonk Hi, can you please help me with the following information: 1. How were you making the taxi payments when using bolt / yandex, was it via cash or was a credit card mandatory. Were forex or credit cards widely accepted in Georgia at the taxis, restaurants and hotels 2. Would these taxi apps work if we use an Indian sim card only on the phone with international roaming, at times the OTP does not come on international numbers 3. Would you suggest booking the day trips in advance before we reach the destination or via local tourist shops / tour operators to save on cost once we are in Tbilisi thanks in advance

Were forex or credit cards widely accepted in Georgia at the taxis, restaurants and hotels You can pay in cash in Bolt/Yandex. Credit/debit cards are widely used. 2. Would these taxi apps work if we use an Indian sim card only on the phone with international roaming, at times the OTP does not come on international numbers. yes, it works. 3. Would you suggest booking the day trips in advance before we reach the destination or via local tourist shops / tour operators to save on cost once we are in Tbilisi. at least a couple a days in advance online is recommended.
